That's it, NeoGAF Direct Hype Thread is officially launched. It never is officially until this .JIF is posted!

And oh, the emotion... my very first Nintendo Direct hype thread since my registration was finally accepted. It was really painful not to be able to join the hype train...

So, what are we doing this time? Hype bus? Hype train? Hype Bullet Bill? What about a hype balance board?

NCL hasn't tweeted about it yet. She retweets the japanese tweet when there's an X trailer.

Yeah, it's likely NCL won't tweet about it for 12 hours or so - it's 6:20PM here.

Last few have been EU/NA first at night, then JP the following morning (Japan time)

I'll say it again, that typo was fantastic I wouldn't have made fun of it that way unless it was like that.
There's plenty of people here whose first language isn't English (it's not mine for example).

To be fair I didn't expect gc sequels on WiiU or even at all.
And we're getting this year mainly this so Fzero may not be out of the question.
Heck I was pretty down on Luigi Mansion before playing it and this game is awesome!

Be aware of hype threads though you can make some grave mistake that way here.
We've all been burned before.
As far as I'm concerned, on WiiU the 1rst party stuffs is fantastic (Mario + Nintendo Land + Lego(and this one surprised me actually) + Pikmin (I hope)).
It's also rather barren if you don't check the downloadable games.
3rd party stuffs are even better than expected!

I think this direct won't be long enough after all it's probably 3DS + WiiU...

Actually, that's not the case. They've been announced at exactly the same time for the past few directs (since the one in April I believe), with NCL, NoE and NoA tweeting about it on the same day, at the same time.

This time, Nintendo hasn't officially announced it yet (other than that email from NoA, since their Twitter account hasn't been updated yet, and it's only the US so far). I think they're gonna officially announce it in exactly 4h35 (4PM GMT+2), 24h before the actual thing.
 
Can't wait for some 3D World and Link Between Worlds footage. Those games are going to be gratuitous amounts of fun for me. Also, I'm interested to see if they've stabilized the frame rate on Mario & Sonic Sochi since we last saw it.

I'm looking forward to more information about Super Mario 3D World / A Link Between Worlds.

And possibly a surprise announcement.

So you've not been interested in any of Mario 3D World, Wind Waker HD, the 3DS XL, Mario Party Island Tour, Yarn Yoshi, Fire Emblem X SMT, Mario Kart 8, Monolith Soft's X, Yarn Yoshi, A Link Between Worlds, Wii Sports Club, Mario & DK Minis, Crashmo, New Super Luigi U, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, Wii Party U, Project X Zone, Sonic & Mario @The Winter Olympics, Pokemon XY, Mega Man/Villager in Smash, Sonic Lost World, Earthbound 3 & Bravely Default localizations, or any of the other smaller information that has been announced in a Nintendo Direct?
 
Having a really hard time caring about this. Last two directs were underwhelming. Unless Nintendo actually announces new stuff.

I think one reason the direct doesn't do it for me is the general lack of excitment when they make announcments.
