Cheap Arse Gaffer |Europe| We Need To Go Cheaper

I've been watching prices for Wii U pro controllers before Mario comes out and Amazon have dropped the price from £23.99 to £20.00 if anyone's interested.

I ordered that from a neighbouring country, do they still require an ID check?

For Germans, yes. That's why they charge postage in Germany, too. No idea about your "neighbouring country". If you're an Ösi, well, according to webstores you're basically bathing in uncut games and gore movies, so maybe no check is required ;)

What's the cheapest online for

- Metal Gear Solid Rising standard version for those of us not into figurines :)
- Remember Me
- Resi 6

They're all around £15 on CeX second-hand so if they can match new I'm happy to go with new.

I am still looking for some cheap 3ds-Games. Any deals for Project X Zone? Or Inazuma Eleven 2?

I see a lot of people selling those games dirt cheap in the buy/sell thread, but sadly the american versions....

Project X Zone seemed to be lingering at about £22 for the longest while but has since climbed in price a bit and has fallen out of stock in a lot of places. £25 from the game collection seems to be the best for a new copy now. Or gamestop.co.uk for 2p more (+delivery) but with a class 4 8GB SD card...

Inazuma Eleven 2 has no American version but anyway, about £22 is the best current deal; a little less from shopto, a little more from Amazon (best deal ever was £10 from GAME but that was a long time ago).

You can get Inazuma Eleven 2 for £11.49 from Argos, via their eBay outlet currently. Only 4 left at the time of posting.

Inazuma Eleven 2 is an DS title. Do you mean Inazuma 3 which just got a EU 3DS release?

WOW HD has it for £35.99:

Anyone bought from them before? Trustworthy? I don't need it day one.

Comes with 2 to 7 weeks of delivery time. I've had to wait A LOT over the summer since they had often the best prices for new games. That really wasn't fun. A late June release arrived in early August, a late July release arrived in early September, etc. I'd never recommend them for day-1 new releases but if you find a deal on an older game and thus probably don't mind waiting, go for it!

Orderer twice from them, both games arrived within a week after being shipped (Soul Sacrifice & Flower Sun & Rain), now I'm waiting to see how much time they will take for my Dragon's Crown

Note; the same is/was true when I ordered non-DVD sized items like CDs, Blu Rays or 3DS games, though sometimes they still took 3 weeks. Thing is, it's entirely possible that you wait a very long time for your order so ge prepared.
Also, a thing for refunds: the give you account credit in the value of your order, not actual refturns of your money. Just FYI.

Batman Arkham Origins is £30 on Amazon UK, along with a bunch of other big name preorders.

In others news, finally got my Pink Sweets/MMP order from YesAsia, it only took 50 days from shipping day, lol.
No customs tho, order a few cents short of €22.

£199 for the Zelda WiiU bundle is a really great deal. Maybe it deserves its own topic? The deal is only for today apparently.

Used to be CD-wow. I should emphasize that it May come from Hong Kong. If it comes from Hong Kong it will take weeks to arrive and there is a chance customs will detect it which means (in UK) an additional £8+£7.20 (or is it £8+£4.20*) slapped on top of the price, the £8 being the lovely Royal Mail handling charge (for filling out some form and paying that tax in advance)**. The risk of an additional £10 being slapped onto the order is not worth it for me (I remember people ordering Super Luigi U saw the price drop on Amazon to less than they paid WOW HD then when it finally arrived there was the £12 customers+royal mail crap bill too).

I hear the game collection is a bit slow for pre-orders but the last time I know anyone tried was a few years ago.

*-I know £15 is the VAT free limit for non-EU goods but does that mean only the value above £15 is counted as tax or is the whole lot...
**-Non-UK countries might have slightly more sane handling fees...

Fantastic deal, but I am keeping the money back for the PS4 now.

I think once Mario 3d World and Mario Kart 8 are released the Wii U will be in a stronger position. I am liking that Zelda themed controller though!

Yep this over and over. I only ever used WowHD once for Lego City Undercover, it was about £5 cheaper than elsewhere. I wasn't aware at that time that they might ship from aboard. It came in from Hong Kong where I got charged £3ish customs and another £8 handling fee. It's all mentioned in their T&C's so you can't complain about it. As such I will never bother purchasing from them again as it's not worth the gamble imo.

Thanks, I'll skip it. I'm just gonna wait til after it comes out.

Looks like it's UK only, if I change to Euro in the basket it says "Item is not available for purchase in EUROs" :(

Man, that WiiU Zelda deal was tempting but Zelda is literally the only thing worth bothering with on WiiU, gotta resist, just play the GC version on Wii instead.

On another matter, anyone know where to get US eShop credit at a non-hilarious mark-up?
