Are scars a turn-off? I mean, obviously they're not particularly attractive, but say if someone had a 1cm long scar below their eye becuase they had to get a biopsy
which happened to me
. Is that something people would... I don't know... Judge?

I want to talk to a girl at uni, but I'm a bit... Nervous. Especially with my newly formed scar.

I have never heard of scars, especially that small, being considered unattractive. There's nothing really to worry about, talk to her.

Scars can be used as a conversational piece because they tell a story. You just need to not be ashamed of it or embarrassed. If you feel it's all she sees, point it out casually and tell her how you got it. If she doesn't react well, that's your cue to move on.

Not all scars are created equal, of course, but some of them can be seen as attractive. I, myself, find scars to be appealing.

I don't think most people would reject you solely because you have a small scar.
 
I have a '98 Cadillac Eldorado. It has a real nice Bose speaker set-up, but I'd love for the radio console (right word?) to be more modern with Bluetooth and maybe touch screen? Is it as simple as replacing the radio console/panel/whatever with a new one or is there more to it than that?

This is my first car so please excuse my ignorance.

Yeah, that should be possible. I swapped out the stereo head unit on my '99 Lumina without much trouble. You just need to figure out how to remove the stock one and then buy the wiring harness and mounting bracket for your particular car, as well as the stereo head unit of choice.

...maybe it's harder than that for your Cadillac. Just from some stuff I found on a quick search, it looks like there might be some radio stuff in the trunk that might complicate things.
 
Is there a app that I could download (Android) that can rotate/fix videos that were recorded wrong?

I have a HTC One, we recorded some videos in the wrong orientation and I'd really like to fix it.
 
2 questions:

Why do stretch marks tend to look much worse (bigger and darker) just after a shower?

Do dogs differentiate between a kiss on the head and a pat on the head? Like, can they tell that one is more special than the other?
 
I have an iTunes account and I have like $15 on it, but iTunes considers this a new computer since I had to have the OS reinstalled, so it asks me to answer my security questions when I wanted to purchase something.

My question is this: is it possible to reset your security questions or something cause I tried every possible answer that I could to those but I don't remember them. :(

I assume you put it over like a lose condom and wank as normal grasping around your penis. I dunno if you move the sock with your hand movement or hold the sock still while running your hand over it, I'd imagine it comes down to personal preference. Seems it it done for ease of disposal, ie just throw it in the wash afterwards, or reuse then wash...

I personally wouldn't want a load of cum in with my load of washing, I don't care if it's being cleaned.
 
Which is the more convenient way to try all of the Persona games?
I know I can play 3 and 4 on the Vita, what about the other 2? What about SMT spinoffs aside from Devil Survivor?

Persona 1 and Persona 2: Part 1 are also available for PSP and you can play those on a Vita as well. The PSP remake of the second half of Persona 2 wasn't localized, but the PS1 version is available through the PSN in North America. Persona 3 and 4 are great games. I personally don't like P1.

There are plenty of other great spin-offs. I'm currently having fun playing Soul Hackers for 3DS. You also have Digital Devil Saga and the Raidou Kuzunoha games for the PS2 that are worth to pick up. You can safely skip DemiKids, Last Bible, and the online games.
 
DVD question:

DVDs no longer play in fullscreen on my computer. It's like they play at 50% screen size when I have full-screen selected, no matter what software I use. The past two DVDs have done this. Anyone know what's going on?

Over lunch I had a little bit of water end up in my windpipe, which of course led to coughing and choking trying to dislodge it, as always happens...

...but one thing I've never understood is why doing that makes your eyes water and nose run, too. Anyone know what the biological benefit or reason for that is?

Tears form whenever you blink to moisturize the eyes and wash away dirt and other stuff. Coughing fits lead to blinking really hard which can cause an excess of tears to form. The runny nose is because the corner of the eye has a passage to the nose; tears mixed with mucus are draining from your nostrils. This is why crying and a runny nose typically come in pairs.

Im not sure what im doing wrong. I need to calculate the Rental Fee and according to this book im using

Rental Fee = (Daily Rental x Days Rented) + (Kilometres Travelled x Car Category Rate)

"Hint: You can use either vlookup or if function to insert the cart category rate."

Ive decided to use vlookup as im unsure how i would do an if function for this.

The first rental fee calculates correctly but every other one uses the "premium" rate from the looks of it, not entirely sure why.

Edit: The code for the other cells is pretty much the same except E5, H5 etc... its E6, H6 and so on.
 
How do you do that thing in excel where if you click a cell with an equation, it will display lines that actually link to the cells in the equation? Not just highlighting the cells, but an actual line that shows you where the data is coming from.

I just bought s Sony xperia Arc S, i'm on windows xp sp2 and the OS can't find the phone.
It does see the device plugged in, but can't find proper drivers (unknown device)
I installed several times Sony Companion utility and sony Service update utility, but nothing worked.
Anyone can help\had the same issue?

Otherwise, did you try changing the transfer mode to MTP respectivly PTP (can be set from the phone)?

mtp or ptp doesn't matter, xp won't recognize the device.
As for the link you posted, it's a bit too much technical for me, and it's my first day on android, i don't know where to look for those files.I need some reading on the subjct before trying such thing.

Does anyone have a usb dongle from the Sony 5.1 wireless headset that they're not using - either because you upgraded to something else, or the headset is broken? My dog ate mine, so my headset is kind of useless right now

I just started watching the Maltese Falcon (for the first time!) and Spade just used that lighter thingie on this desk, which looks like kind of a mechanical matchstick you push into some contraption that lights it on fire.

I need such a thing! What is it called? Can one buy it anywhere?
 
I have a few questions about this healthcare plan..I been out of the loop for a couple years (don't live in states anymore)..

1) I thought this plan wasn't really that much better than current as its not like..some other countries (Taiwan for example) and that both needed to be scrapped and it built ground up.

2) I thought there was at min a monthly payment like car insurance for it.

Sometimes people become Junior Members again if they make lots of bad threads or bad posts. In which case they can become members again in a few months to years if their behaviour has been improved. There is no set time, it's all case by case, usually the member will PM a mod after 9 or so months and ask to get their member status (and thread making privileges) back.

I want to change my email adress in my profile, the previous one I used at the time of registration not existing anymore due to a change of ISP, but when I do it I got an error message basically saying I can't use a free mail provider. Granted, my ISP has the "Free" word in its name, but I pay for it every month, I swear ! When I want to contact an admin via the included link, it tells me the function has been deactivated

Sooo, can I contact an admin about this problem ? If yes, which one(s) should I contact without risking the almighty banhammer ?

So I downloaded the Windows 8 ISO from Microsoft but I only have dual layer discs. The ISO is 2.63 GB.

Is it fine to burn this small file on a DL disc?

Shouldn't matter. You can also use a flash drive if you don't want to waste a disc.
 
Network / port connection question (I'm a big dummy so forgive my ignorance)

So when I go to CMD and then do 'ipconfig /all' and see the preferred IP address .. do I set that as the static ip address in the TCP/IPv4 properties screen?

And then what do I do in the router settings for port forwarding? Lets say I want to open a port for uTorrent for example. Do I use the same IP address that I set in the TCP/IPv4 screen when making an exception?

Assuming your PC ist just connected to the router (who is then connected to the internet), these configuration should be done via the router webinterface (not via the Windows dialog). The router either assigns an IP via DHCP (non static), or you can specify a static IP for that computer.

Yes, you open a port for that specific computer. So if you want to open the port for your desktop computer, you open it for e.g. 192.168.178.20; if you want to open it for your laptop, then you open it for e.g. 192.168.178.21 etc.

At least that's how its done with my FritzBox.
 
I took out my hdd from my laptop and installed my ssd. I was expecting my hdd to still be accessible when I connected it externally but it isn't. When I connect it, it's telling me that I need to format the drive before using it. Is there any way I can access my files on this drive?
