Getting X so I'll catch Clauncher (is that the right one?). I like him, and I like Frogadier and can abide Greninja, but those four are the absolute stand outs of Gen 6 so far.

Pangoro and Helioptile evo come close as well
 
Well, all three starter final evolutions leaked. Not sure I'm going to go with Froakie in Y now; I think I might give Chespin a chance since EVERYONE seems to be going for Froakie. Team Fennekin for X, though!

Anyway, I'm done with this thread until October 12th! Later, guys.
 
TEAM FROAKIE + CHARMANDER, BITCHES.

Fennekin's last evo is awful (and I was team Fennekin when they were first revealed...) and Chespin's meh. So yeah, Froakie it is.
 
Chespin's third evo is interesting... But it doesn't look like a Pokemon to me *(And I know how hypocritical it is for me to say that). The color scheme, the way the shell resembles armor, and the proportions make it look like one of those sapient non-human races in a PS1/PS2 era RPG, and it's kinda creepy. 0_o I actually find it more distracting than Delphox.

Still, I like the inventive shell on the back and I like having another Grass/Fighting type. I don't feel it's boring like Delphox, so kudos to Gamefreak for that.

Greninja is definitely my favorite, though. It has a dynamic pose, a great visual evolution of the bubble scarf with a tongue scarf, and it's a ninja. Go #teamfroakie

EDIT: Can't believe people think a ninja frog with a tongue scarf is shit. That concept on its own is weird enough and cool enough to be on my team.
 
Chespin3 turned out to be the best one because he never cared what everybody thought of him, he did what he did best, but I like magic and psychic pokemon too much so I'll be going with the fire one.
 
So is Chesnaught suppose to act like a turtle and go inside its armor? It certainly looks like it with the half-shell and lanky limbs.
 
I like Chesnaught the best out of the three, but it's not saying much. Good enough to use on my team at least.

Chespin/Squirtle/Y it is. Sorry Froakie, we're just not meant for each other anymore :(

I just woke up. I'm trying to navigate this thread but its a mess. Ran into a small pic of Chespin3, and I think confirmation that Greninja is a thing, but every other page I find seems to be discussion on the anime special. Anybody got a summary of whats been found in the past 9 hours or so?
 
Xerneas and Yveltal are in the fifties? Yikes.

Or are these not dex numbers.

We don't know the pseudo legendary for this gen yet right? And I'm sure we are going to get a legendary trio and probably 1 or 2 standalone legendaries on top of the mascot ones. Could be another 8 right there.

I almost feel like they want a large selection of older pokemon available for whatever reason

I just think it's weird that the mouth where the tongue comes out of is so obscured, it's obviously a tongue considering the colour and the animal its based on but it's pretty hard to actually tell it is a tongue, if you know what I mean?

Best of a bad bunch, unfortunately, just like Samurott before it.

Gen 1 is the only one that's nailed all three starter finals for me. I like Feraligatr and Typho, and Swampert, and Empoleon and Torterra... but it's a real shame that for six starter Pokemon in a row now I can't find one to be my legit bro from the start.

It's down to Diggersby my niggasby to fist everyone into oblivion
 
throwing my 2 cents about our new starters....don't really care for Delphox at all.....bland.

been #teamfroakie from day one and i chose correctly!

Greninja is confirmed to be Froakie's final evolution. It's Water/Dark, has Torrent as an ability, and appears to have high Speed, Attack, and Sp. Attack. It has the signature move Water Shuriken, which is an increased priority, multi-hitting (2-5 times), physical Water-type move with rather low base power (I think 15).

Quilladin evolves into Chesnaught, which is Grass/Fighting. We're not sure on its stats or ability just yet.

We had a new Rock/Fairy type Pokemon come out. It's jewels and stuff. We've also seen some evolutions to existing new Pokemon, and some new megas have been shown. (Mega Charizard X, Mega Aerodactyle.)

I think that's it.

Chesnaught is a definite contender for the worst looking final starter evolution in the entire series.

Kind of like how Quilladin is a contender for the worst looking mid evolution starter in the entire series.

Vivillian has 3 patterns :p There's a white winged pattern seen in a pokebank pic.

I don't know, Gen V is pretty fucking horrid aesthetically.
 
I'd get Froakie, but I wanna get Squirtle too since I haven't trained one since my Yellow days. I guess I rather have the knight than the witch.
