no. Gen III rebooted the way the game's IVs and EVs worked and you can only go as far back as Gen III. you can still bring Gen III pokes up to the newest games.

If you're a crazy madman like me you can even import your Pokemon all the way from Colleseum and XD if you want.

Fire/Fighting and bipedal instead of some Ganon like boar were the reasons I didn't like it. I loved Tepig as well.

Hmm, now you mention it... I think I may have had a second Arcanine on FireRed.

He's my favourite Pokémon ;-;

From FireRed to X, you'd need:

-A DS or DS Lite in addition to a second DS (you could use a 3DS here)
-A Gen 4 game (Pal Park)
-A Gen 5 game (Poké Transfer)

Transfer from FR to G4 w/ Pal Park, then transfer from G4 to G5 with Poké Transfer. Once it's in a G5 game, then you'd have to wait until Pokémon Bank/PokéTransporter starts service to transfer it to XY.

I'm not seeing the appeal of Tongue Frog Ninja thing.

It's a frog ninja, it looks sleek and emphasizes the lankiness of a real tree frog, and it uses its tongue as a ninja scarf. That just is so ridiculously off-the-wall and cool for me. I love how Pokemon takes natural features of real world organisms and just extends them to a fantasy look.

Really my only problem with Chesnaught is the overuse of beige. The gender Photoshop looks great because it has such a better color balance. Other than that, I think I really like it. Certainly more than the other two.

It's probably me least favorite gen as far as final starter evos go though. And they all started off so well.

Speaking for myself, I'm not a fan of Pokemon that are too feminine for the most part (there's exceptions, I love Roserade for example), and I also don't really like ones that are too humanoid in appearance or posture. It's why I don't really like Lucario or Blaziken, they have arms and legs like humans and stand like humans do and I'm not too fond of it.

I used to be a fire starter "purist" but these last few generations have been disappointing for me. Didn't like Infernape and Emboar at all.

We do not know exactly, but over half of the Kalos Dex (which as of this writing is at least 200) is dedicated to them.

It didn't live up to people's expectations. Its head is small. Its wand disappeared. It's not cute enough. It's bland. And it doesn't have as many pictures as Greninja (at least I don't think so) on the Internet yet so there's nothing to really make people like it any more than they do (or don't, rather). Those are all the reasons I'm seeing.

I think opinions could change on this Pokemon, though, when we actually see it in battle/see its official art/learn its stats. But as it stands, the Froakie train is having one hell of a party, heh.
