I don't agree, it would be "fucking awful". I think this has to do with fanbases just rationalizing buying something that could be better, people do that a lot with purchases now. People will most likely not out right say "70 Pokemon and a shitton of Megalutions with no post game is shit GF, FIX IT". They will instead say "3D models are hard work, its a balancing gen etc." this is why I like kick starters to an extent, once I put so much money in the project, you can't fuck me over on content.

People, you DO NOT have to make excuses for GF. They're a huge company with huge pockets and the backing/ support of both Nintendo and Creatures (which have been making 3D Pokemon games already). If they decide to make fewer Pokemon then it was their decision, and if people bitch hard enough then maybe our feelings will be heard.

I'm still hopelessly hoping that GF decided to make a fail save incase a reviewer leaked by locking half the pokemon until the official release that would release them via some kinda wifi thingy. (No hope but w/e ...)

I'm with you on that one, guys. Binacle and Carbink are some of the worst Pokemon designs of all time, and they get worse once you realize they're probably single stage Pokemon.

Also Hawlucha is so awesome until you see that the wings aren't even. Wtf is that about? Doesn't even make any thematic sense nor does it look good.

I'm going with the Fennekin line though, I prefer that it more. Generally, average final stages though... Disappointing, as this were some of the best starters.

I was gonna roll all new pokes until December when bank opens up, and even with the revealed ones, I have a full squad. Starter, heliolisk, tyrantrum, Pyroar, maybe noivern, maybe the newest eevee that's not Sylveon, maybe whatever clauncher turns into, maybe pangoro, maybe malimar, maybe meowstick. I think the revealed mons are solid, and had I been a normal follower and not so hardcore (all of us in this thread basically), we'd be surprised by a lot of this stuff. My casual family members are stoked and know next to nothing.

And honestly, what I liked most about BW2 is that you can form a pretty varied squad from the outset if you wanted to and XY seems like it takes team building a step further. Toxicroak, Bagon, hippowdown, absol, azumarill are all available pretty early, and those are just the ones I prefer.

Tl;dr the games not out yet and we dont know everything.

I agree with this. Hiro is one of the guys who leaked the BW pokedex and he leaked correctly the typing for Sylveon and the XY legendaries back in April before fairy type was announced.
