You need the PokeTransfer app to transfer pokemon from Gen V to Gen VI. That won't be available until December, so unless there's a way of getting Tepig in X&Y (or people find a way to cheat...) it won't be available.

There will be hundreds of older Pokeymans from previous series on top of the new ones introduced in XY, right? I played a bit of whichever game has Emboar, and some Blue before that. It's clear that we'll be able to get the 3 OG starters and Mewtwo, but I'm not sure about everything else.

I think a realistic expectation would be:

70ish new pokemon species

30ish mega forms

which means roughly 100 new pokemon to find

and expect

80 - 90 old pokemon to round out the regional dex.

this will mean roughly 150 -160 pokemon species pre game.

then add in another 50ish mons postgame.

The games themselves will probably have a little over 200 pokemon to find.

I guess if you add in the dreamworld and event distributions, that can add another 100 or so.

Each section of the Pokedex is looking to have at least 150 Pokemon, so we could be looking at a total of 450 for the Kalos Regional Dex alone. That's not even counting whatever's available postgame.

Hopefully, Charizardite X can be transferred between versions of the game, as I prefer X Zard to Y Zard, and I'm getting Y. A sibling is getting X, so I'm forcing him to choose Charmander while I choose Bulbasaur for him.

You have to set up Streetpass within the game. It could be an option on the title screen or something you unlock in game. I'm not sure how Pokemon will do it. It won't collect Streetpass info for that title until you set it up.
