Thanks guys. Well this is really cool, I remember some leaker said the post game is shitty, but if nobody even reached the elite 4 nobody can say that.
Also really awesome that there seems to be a lot of stuff today between gyms.
Someone said ghost/psychic when he was first revealed, so second hand info, I guess. I haven't really thought about it much, but losing poison typing kinda sucks since he's a fairy murderer otherwise.

Apparently in Y Bagon can be caught even before the 2nd gym, people are saying that in X he's replaced by Gible.
Not confirmed yet, but people are guessing that he's not.
Are there any more examples of this? I really need to know the differences between the two.
Also, the fact that Gible and Bagon are version exclusives makes me think that Salamence might get a mega evolution as well.
Not that I've stumbled upon yet, and although the Bagon thing is true the fact that he's replaced by Gible in X is just hearsay so take it with a grain of salt!

Ugh this version exclusive stuff is going to drive me crazy until release.
I guess now more than ever it's easy enough to just trade back and forth though.

Just woke up and finished reading through the thread. Some awesome bombs there, Sliggoo and Klefki are both great. Can't wait to see the third evo of Sliggoo.
An item to change abilities is megaton, especially if it allows access to DW abilities.
Not feeling Barbaricle, but it's an improvement over the its pre-evo (possibly one of the ugliest pokemon ever).
Malimar being physical-focused is interesting, but I get the feeling that GF will screw it over with a shitty physical movepool and amazing special moves
And no second Eeveelution is unsurprising. Having its potential dex spot taken by that fucking flying squirrel is a bit of a slap in the face though. Ouch.

Kinda depends on your taste though, it's always been a bit like that. A lot of people on 4chan were happy about the prospect of getting Vulpix and Pinsir over Heracross and Growlithe.
Hard to understand, I know.
They might be balanced better than we think. Maybe they just haven't shown us the good stuff in Y. That's why I'd love to know as much as possible before making my final decision.

About as skimp on details as I expected first reviews to be. I expect a lot of places will hold out till the 12th for their full reviews so they can get into a bit more detail.

Nice. If it is confirmed, Y for me then. Aromatisse, Skrelp and now maybe Vulpix as well. Pinsin can go fuck itself though.

Vulpix's evo (don't know its English name) has high mega evolution potential imo.
I'd stick with X anyway; but it has to be taken into account. My guess (my wish) is that old gen exclusives will get a mega evolution.

Some people on 4chan were guessing that this means Ninetails, Arcanine, Pinsir and Heracross could all get mega evolutions.

My problem is that for all the love I have for Arcanine I'll already have a Blaziken and a Charmander in my team...

Fortunately I'm choosing Y. I'm also choosing Fennekin and don't mind Delphox. I am apparently a man of contrary tastes if the reactions here are to be believed.

There are quite a few people that like Delphox, I assure you, but the reactions to it are mostly negative. Then again, every post-Blaziken Fire-type starter was hated, so whatevis.

Delphox isn't bad in itself.
But Froakie becomes a f*cking ninja! How can one not chose him!

Just realized Delphox is the only Fire-type who doesn't any part of its body on fire.
I am not choosing Greninja, but I already have an early trade set up, so I will train both Fennekin and Froakie in my first playthrough :3 It does look incredible.
All this talk about exclusive Vulpix and Growlithe and Megas has renewed my faith. M-Arcanine, let's go!!
Also, no hating Ninetales. I still have my ex-girlfriend's Ninetales from when we played HGSS together. Sentimental value.

I really, really, REALLY hope not. Planning to go with X, but Ninetales is definitely going to be part of my team. I swear that I always pick the game that has crappy Growlithe instead of Vulpix.

If you can't wait until transfers are open I'm sure GTS will be full of like-for-like version exclusive trades too...at least I'm going to try and make much bigger use of it this time (yay, boosted EXP and Pokemon disobeying me).
