The GAF FC isn't full (at least, it wasn't last night when I was on last). If you're going to be playing again, I'm sure you'd be able to rejoin with no issues. They just purged people who hadn't played in a few weeks because at one point we were super full with people waiting in the wings.

Thanks; I imagine rejoining requires /tell-ing one of the mods again? Can't wait to get back in; all the communication on my screen this session was worthless gil sellers!

Just send us a tell when you're online and we will invite you back in. Make sure to drop your other FC so that we can invite.

Thanks, Robo. Sent you a /tell ten seconds ago and the game said that it "could not be sent". Are you blocking messages because of all the gil spam?
 
I love this game, but I won't be subbing until 2.1. I finished most of the content. The end game is really repetitive. I need the choice of more than one dungeon to farm t2 tomes in. Need some sort of dailys and/or rep grind as well to have reasons to log in each day. I like what's here, but I just need more. Some sort of casual endgame content would be a huge boon, i.e. PvP, mount/pet collecting, rare housing items, etc.
 
Why the damn Software Token App is so shitty? Is the third time already that the damn thing desynchronizes or whatever error so it gives me wrong passwords. The only solution is to remove it and install it again which is quite a tedious process.

I've used it since launch and that's never happened to me.

Never happened to me either on Android with CM 10.x.

Probably a phone/OS issue.

Supposedly it's an Android specific issue

Given their database app is only on ios right now, this doesn't surprise me much

It could be phone/android os version/provider specific

A linkshell is basically a chat channel with 128 maximum members. You can be in 8 at once. A free company has a maximum of 512 members, and comes with benefits like company-wide storage and special buffs. You can only be in one FC at a time.

Speaking of relic+1, I did the math with the currently-known cure formulas, and it turns out that relic+1 with darklight gear is actually significantly better than regular relic with AF2 body and head. It's still hard for me to part with all of those tomes, but I think I'll go with relic+1 first after all. Even though I am tired of the darklight body piece.

Just happened to me. Shit just reset itself or whatever and is asking to register it again.

Not for tanks.

Vit > dmg mitigation > damage

For DD, yeah for sure, weapon dmg > *

And healers... dunno - but AFAIK the primary stat is the ones that affect healing power and mana right? So that means they just upgrade whichever one provides better stats per tome of myth, relative to what gear they already have.

*edit* ah, you were talking about healers. So does weapon dmg affect healing?
 
The reason why it came up initially was that it seemed, going by stats, that relic+1 was not nearly as big of an upgrade as some of the armor pieces for white mage. But it turns out that magic damage matters a lot on a weapon, even for cures.

Thanks for the info, but now I wish I didn't know this. I ending up spending my last tomes on getting the belt instead of the body since I was planning on buying the AF+1. Now it's time to farm a bunch of CM after finishing off my AK runs this weekend.

It's pretty ugly imho. I'm a fan of cloaks in general, but not this one. Not at all. Also, why, as healers, do our gloves have claws on them anyway? Never made sense to me.

Our songs kind of suck. I use Army's Paeon for speed runs or fates when there are a lot of melee. I use Foe Requiem on bosses b/c it doesn't decrease my damage. I rarely use Ballad though as mages are usually good on their own.

AK and HM Primals drop Myth tomes. You don't need 1337 gear for it, as AK is the only way to get said gear, unless you like mind numbing CM farms. Maybe run WP or Farm Ifrit HM for a weapon before going to AK.

You farm them in amdapakor keep.

It requires 1 maybe 2 upgrades from af armor and pretty much any lvl 50 weapon.

It can be done in crafting gear if the other 3 are good/geared.
