Seems like reviews did skip out on post game.

what do you mean?? what about this:

from Nintendo World Report:

"On the other hand, inconsistent presentation, insubstantial core innovation, a low Pokémon count, and a minimal post-game keep them from achieving the total nirvana that this series has always been capable of."

Strikingly different from Gamespot's review:
"Pokemon's postgame content is actually some of the best it has to offer, with new areas opening up and even more challenges appearing, significantly extending the life of the game past the 30 hours a straight run of the main campaign takes."

that phrase is taking about pokemon in general... just kidding :P Reviews didnt help.

one might be a pokemon fan, knowing what sort of post game to expect, the other fairly new or casual pokemon fan thinks 2h after the main plot is plenty of content, plus online and collecting.

on the other hand the low amount of pokemon could be buy a guy just speeding through the game and since they are well spread out it seems to him like there are no new mons.

the question is, did the reviewers get info sheets with all new pokemon and mega evos or do they have to find it out themselves?

From what I've been able to tell reading in between the lines the NDA forbids them from discussing some megas, but doens't actually list them. Other than that they can't talk about certain stuff like the starter evos until release.

Only like 5 new pages while I slept? Let's hope for a Mega Jynx confirmation today!

Man, I'll RAGE if the fucking evolution of the regional rodent (although it's a cool design) is the only Ground-type and the regional Bug/Flying line are the only bugs.

I just can't stop looking at the leaks! I'm kinda annoyed at myself having looked at what is likely to be almost all of the new pokemon. I'm disabling images when looking at this thread from now on. I would still like to know a few things such as the final count of new pokemon and the amount of post-game content or lack thereof.

This way I can see the answers to these questions but at least leave a few things left for me to be surprised by when I actually play the game. Like the Z legendary and any other legends and post-game pokemon.

Dual typed moves are moves that deal damage with two types instead of just one. There are currently two known dual type moves.

Light Ray: Grass/Electric
Flying Press: Fighting/Flying

EDIT:
Say for instance you use Flying Press on a Rock Pokemon. Fighting would super effective damage but the multiplier is scaled back to 1x because Rock resists Flying.

NEVERMIND

Ground would be immune or receive super effective from light ray?
It would do no damage, since the multiplier for NE attacks is 0. Reposting the type relationship:

Grass
SE vs Ground, Rock, Water,
NVE vs. Bug, Dragon, Fire, Flying, Grass, Poison, Steel

Electric
SE vs. Water, Flying
NVE vs. Dragon, Electric, Grass
NE vs. Ground

Grass/Electric:
x4: Water
x2: Rock
x0.5: Electric, Bug, Fire, Flying, Poison, Seel
x0.25: Dragon, Grass
x0: Ground

Noivern is actually pretty cool, I'd be happy for him to be the Psuedo. He's already better looking than Garchomp and Hydreigon, and he's so far above Druddigon it's not funny.

On the subject on dual-type moves, could someone tell me the multiplier for a Fire/Flying move on Parasect with Dry Skin + STAB?
I think it was 32x? That's what I heard someone of /vp/ say anyway.

x1.0 Flying
x0.5: Electric, Bug, Fire, Poison, Steel

x0: Ground
Okay :C still, if it has two types, I don't think it will be ineffective, it's like if I used a water stream with electric current, the water would still deal super effective damage I think, While the damage from the electric part wouldn't be in effect.
