I think that Josh guy posted and his Skrelp is level 37 and hasn't evolved. He's trying to figure out how if it isn't just a higher level.

No. Two stager and has a somewhat lower stat total: 550 as opposed to the requisite 600.
I hope next generation that they make a pokemon that evolves at level 100 just to piss people off.

Good thing the 5 star ratings balanced out the overall 3 star rating the game used to have because people decided not to think properly (ironic since they want to play a Layton game). Some of the newer ones are obviously jokes making fun of the legit ones.
Also, there's apparently someone on 4chan saying that any Pokemon that has IVs lower than 31 in a specific stat can compensate that by getting extra EVs. Probably BS but it would be a start to fix them.

Same here. I was really happy with Gen V bug types and was hoping they would get away from things like Vivillion.
there's like a handful of dragon pokemon introduced each gen and more than a little bit of bug pokemon.
Kingdra looks like ass though.
Shame, since Vivillion could have been (or maybe it still is; have its Base stats been figured out yet?) an excellent Pokemon. I still really like its design.

Not making Goodra poison/dragon was a pretty silly mistake on gamefreaks part.

True, I am just hoping that Game Freak learns from this and not count them as a new Pokémon.
Or just limit the number of them created.
It's so baffling that Fairy get a gym when Dark doesn't, did we really need another electric gym as it has been in every gen so far. Let Dark type have it time in the spot light.
Then we test it out with another Goodra and see if it yield the same result.

This is the first generation we've had them, so I imagine they'll dial the number back a bit since they've introduced a healthy amount of them to start off with. (About 10-15 as opposed to 25ish)
Well, Fairy's a new type, so it isn't surprising that it gets a gym to showcase it.
Electric has been in every gen so far, yeah. Well, sort of. There's technically been an Electric Gym in every handheld main series Pokemon game (there wasn't an Electric Gym in Johto, but you could go to Kanto in G/S/C). A Dark type Gym Leader would be awesome to have someday.

Really like the last three gym leader designs. Pleasantly surprised.
IMO, it's the most disappointing thing to happen this gen. I was ready to give a beatdown to some fairies with it... but I guess it also makes sense. Why give a counter to fairies with a dragon/poison pokemon the same gen fairies are introduced. Maybe next gen we'll get our dragon/poison pokemon.
Wow, Goodra's evolution level and typing is really disappointing. I wonder what its base stats are, but I doubt it's enough to warrant such a ridiculous level. Ehh, I don't know if I care for pokemon who are little more than competitive scene material. Volcarona and Hydreigon were excessive.

Nor do I. The entire concept of the Fairy type is based around small, meek Pokemon given the elemental advantage over others that would normally dominate them. Dragons don't need a Fairy counter. That's the point. I'm not really keen on any one Fairy type being Uber, either.
