Pokemon X and Y Leaks, Releases Early

I would surmise that the Z Legendary does not appear in any regional dex... just the National Dex. I suppose additional event pokemon / legendaries could extend the National Dex as we go.

I'm guessing Mewtwo is 150. The Kanto legendary bird trio likely starts at 142 or 145.

So the rumour about the Kanto birds being the legendary trio for this game were true? >.>

That makes me think, is Mewtwo somewhere in the game or was there an event with the movie and you have to wait for the bank to be available? The Mewtwonite X/Y will probably have to be somewhere as well.

Still hoping that the National Dex has more unknown Pokemon.

It would be completely illogical for Nintendo and GameFreak to market and hype the Mega Mewtwo forms like they have only to have them be either event based or require the bank. My guess is that they saved Mewtwo as a post game legendary.

:p Welp, guess I'll have zero surprises in x/y other than the legends.
I regret constantly coming back, but Noibat was worth it. <3

Mewtwo may be after the main game, btw.

It's also a possibility that the Z Legendary is 150. And Mewtwo (and/or possibly Mew) precedes the Xerneas / Yveltal tandem.
Last I saw there was absolutely no proof of the Kanto trio being in the game.

If megas were more than temp form changes, or if you could have more than one in a party I wouldn't feel like thats too little. But given the way Megas play out and the lack of a large new Pokemon lineup I would be lying if I didn't say I was let down. Maybe the post game will hold some secrets.

So Aegislash is freaking awesome... and Goodra being dragon only is kind of dissapointing, but at the same time kind of cool because there aren't many dragon only pokemon and he has less weaknesses this way.

Megas wouldn't work if they were permanent and/or you could have more than one in any given battle.

There's no proof of any other Legendary being in this game, either.
Perhaps Xerneas, Yveltal, Mewtwo, the Z Legendary and the Megas are all we get.
Didn't say there was ;) but it'd be very out of character for Gamefreak if that were the case. I really don't see them bringing back the legendary birds on top of Mewtwo though.

Eh, thats arguable. At least the second part.

Either way, I'm still confused, can I have multiple Pokemon holding mega stones in my party but only activate one per battle? Or do I have to micro manage my stones in between battles?

I believe you can have all of them holding stones if you want to, but you can only activate one per battle.

That's a good question. Since it's in-game, i don't need to worry about choice items or life orb, I'd just have everyone holding a mega stone and choose who gets to go for the battle.

Well looks like my theory is being proven more accurate, the only ones we're missing from my list have gone down to the Deino family, Tympole family, Dratini family and cranidos family which are very likely to fit in the pokedex though I have my doubts about Cranidos unless there are more fossils in the Mountain region

No, you can choose your attack after doing it.

Thanks for the responses.

Anyway I hope there are more megas left that haven't been discovered. I initially loved the concept of mega Pokemon because in theory it would put weaker Pokemon on a higher level, but at the moment it seems more that popular Pokemon from previous gens are getting mega evolutions rather than Pokemon that actually need it to be competitive.

Found a few more BST estimates on Smogon:

Pokémon: HP/Atk/Def/SpAtk/SpDef/Spe

Sliggoo: 60/70/50/90/120/65 = 455 BST [Give this thing an Eviolite]
Carbink: 40/40/150/40/150/40 = 460 BST [Gimmicky thing]
Tyrantrum: 95/125/120/80/60/75 = 555 BST [Same BST as Arcanine, pretty good!]

Where the fuck is Growlithe? Wasn't there a rumour about him and Vulpix being version exclusives? The Arcaninite needs to be real as well :/

So it seems like there's a huge gap in the Mountain Dex still.

Is it possible that there are still new Pokemon yet to be seen? The fact no leaker seems to even encountered Noivern yet is strange itself.
