there might be 10-ish DLC pokemon later to be revealed. as i said before, Arceus came out 2 years after the release of the games. we knew it exists bc the DS was hacked, 3DS is not.

Considering he got busted last time, Nintendo/TPCi probably would not have given him the game. There was never any reason to believe him.
Aside from the Z legendary, any other pokemon are event legendaries.

What about a legendary trio? Are we getting the Gen 1 birds? Because that would be majorly disappointing unless they are all getting Megas or something.

Am I the only one that's glad there won't be a crap-ton of legendaries this generation? Limiting the number makes the few given seem more rare and valuable.
On an unrelated note, I hope that Gen VII, VIII, IX, and X pay tribute to Gen II, III, IV, and V, respectively, just like Gen VI is doing to Gen I.

Professor Sycamore gives you a train pass to visit a previously inaccessible city on the map. I guess this is the walled-off postgame area. I'm still checking it all out.
First thing: Friend Safari. It seems to take all the friend codes you have registered and somehow generate a couple of Pokemon of a like type out of it. You pick which 'friend safari' you want to go on and it dumps you in a patch of grass where you can encounter those generated Pokemon. I went into my girlfriend's and there were Ledybas and Illumises. Apparently if your friend is playing Pokemon at the time you enter the safari, there'll be more available.

We saw its pre-evo (Noibat).
I would expect Latias and Latios as they're rumoured to be getting megas, would be strange to give them mega evolutions and not have them attainable in game.
4th and 5th gen had too many legendaries IMO
It doesn't make sense to make them all DLC or events... Unless they only decided to have 5 Legendary max this gen.
If this is true, the Pokemon this gen truly sucks in terms of numbers and designs.

I'm with you. Outside of the main legendaries, the past couple generation extras have all felt lazy and under designed. Totally fine with not having an artificially inflated number.
70 new Pokemon+Event Only and Megas seems like a perfectly acceptable number to me.
Ah is that the Trio? Eh Ah well.

Oh sorry I was still gushing at how adorable Kanpachi's avatar is to read about the new Pokemon count.
Not really, since a lot of the stuff in this thread has photo proof.
A lot of people are going around saying the bird trio is in as if it's fact, it's not yet. As far as I know there's no leaker that's hinted to that.
The mega evolution lists we've seen have had least been semi-proven as a lot of them have been right so far.
