Vaporeon gets by with the same stat and while she's not as physically bulky as Vaporeon, she's not awful. (Especially with a Fighting resist) Baby-Doll Eyes could also help, but I doubt it'll be worth a moveslot.
Her typing is good and her stats are usable, so I think it's too early to dismiss her.

Whichever names you roll with, here's how the rest of the Eevee assignments should go.
- Sylveon = Moon
- Flareon = Mars
- Vaporeon = Mercury / Neptune
- Jolteon = Jupiter
- Leafeon = Uranus
- Glaceon = Neptune / Mercury (I suppose you could go either way with these)
- Espeon = Pluto
- Umbreon = Saturn
You could even mix-match the naming conventions (i.e. give your Sylveon the name Serena, give your Leafeon the name Haruka, etc.)
I have seen that image on Game trailer Pokémon X and Y preview, sooo take that as you will.
Plus no picture of said legendary.

Operating your own gym in a Pokemon game and then uploading it to Wi-Fi for your friends to challenge. That would be amazing. Plus, it would be an easy way to do trainer battles during the end game. You could set different teams with different levels for all the trainers that come in...
That is literally too cool to happen though. At least not for 10 games or so, we did eventually get Stadium Battles

Would be neat to play a "gen" set in the past. Not necessarily prehistoric, but a whole gen in a past world would be sick.

As for Venus, name your playable character Minako, give her a shiny red bow, blonde hair and an orange dress and have her walk around with an army of Sailor Scout-themed Eevees.
It was expected since the game revolves around the animals that inhabit Yggdrasil.
Vaporeon also has 130 base HP and water absorb. Sylveon has cute charm. Plus, everything resists fighting nowadays.
How have I never thought of this theme before? :lol

Basing pokemon on Norse mythology is one of the best ideas GF has in awhile now.
Sylveon has 110. (Might be 95) Not as good, but not awful as I said. I think the Steel-weakness will probably do her in though.

I have never thought of it as a squirrel. It was "something" but not a squirrel.

Wish some other sites had done the same thing, specially IGN, if only because they tend to have nice video reviews and I was disappointed to see all they could use was mostly old trailers and stuff.
