Vita PSN Game & Service Thread | October 2013 | Ver 2000, Batman and some Angry Birds

is it good?
It just got annouced a week ago, and won't be out until January, so I think you'll need to wait a bit to get any impressions. Experience seems like a solid developer though. Their Generation Xth games for PC (to which this game is related) garnered enough of a following that one of them is getting fantranslated. And their previous Vita exclusive, Demon Gaze, got a nice write-up in Kotaku and is being localized by NISA.

This is DLC for regular Soul Sacrifice, not just Delta, right?

Looks kinda slowdown filled to me... :\

Here's a stage from the PS3 game that should give you an idea:

Here's direct Vita Footage of the same stage for comparison.

Looks good, but the visual downgrade is still noticeable. The lack of motion blur and the not so great lighting really stand out when compared. Still really want this game to hit the EU store at some point (please).

I see, well if RR Vita becomes next month's Vita freebie, I'll prob. get the Unlock dlc for $7.49 and have it go towards an extra $10 back~

The complete edition only costs 5 bucks more than the one without DLCs, why don't you just bought it instead of half the game. I'll probably buy it down the line, but not having an offline mode really scares me.

And, seriously, I hate Siliconera's page for mobile devices. It's the most awful thing I've seen in months.

There's a complete ver.? I can't find it on the US Store, unless it's retail.

Sup Vitagaf!

Its been a while since I last paid attention to my vita, I was getting frustrated with the lack of games to buy so put it on the shelf for a few months. I have a trip to Miami coming up for work so I dusted it off, and bought some stuff to keep me busy on the trip!
-killzone
-rayman legends
-spelunky
-lone survivor
-oddworld

Very impressed with all the content available now since I last checked

Killzone is the best multiplayer hand held shooter ever (not that there is much competition). being able to sit there and hop into a quick game of death match during half time or whatever is amazing.

Haven't played rayman yet but loved origins. And the downloadable games I haven't touched yet either but lone survivor in particular looks right up my alley

actually played some more Rayman Origins. my son seems way more interested playing it on my vita than his 3DS, but i can't blame him. the frame rate on the 3DS is atrocious and the picture in comparison is terrible at best.

i'm usually stuck beating all the hard parts for him. the schmup level on the mosquito was pretty neat

Yes. It's distro date is two weeks away.

If you finished the Gou Enma DLC and carry over your savefile to Delta, you'd be given a special item.

Why am I more updated than you guys? I haven't even played Soul Sac!

D8

Finally got my P4G platinum last night! Since I started back to work full-time, I don't have as much time to game so it took me around a week longer than I anticipated. I really hope Persona 3 comes to Vita.

Anyway, I'm gonna start Muramasa, now. I have so many games backlogged because of Persona. But I'm cool wit dat.

Injustice PS Vita version confirmed, running 60FPS, good models and background, based on the images included in the link below.

EEEEEEE! Between that and Amazing Spider-man, next month should be good for superhero games. Even if I've already played and beaten both, I want them on a handheld.

EDIT: Even better news is that it's arriving in North America a few weeks earlier, on the 12th!

lol that came out of nowhere. I'm more interested in this than the borderlands port. I don't know why Sony wouldn't announce this at gamescon

Edit: It's also getting ported to PS4, and PC.

Unfortunately that Injustice is too little too late. I suppose if you're into it that's a good thing

Never interested in the game on PS3 or 360 but now that its on vita, hell yeah im buying it.

Has TAS for vita been confirmed yet? Anyways, looks like November has my money going to Injustice Vita and Tearaway :)

Is there any fighting games fan that hasn't bought a Vita. Because every single person from the FGC should have one. There is an iteration of almost every IP out there. I think the only one the Vita lacks right now is Tekken.

And if the D-Pad works as good with those games as with 2D platformers and Ridge Racer (i don't like the genre, so I haven't played any), it must be their definitive game machine.

Where is my Persona 4: Golden? T.T

Origins is so great on Vita! You guys should check out Legends together at some point. I think it even has ad-hoc multiplayer if you decide to get your son his own Vita at some point :).

For full collection of fightning games we only need Soul Calibur, Tekken, classic SF and P4 Arena (oh and KOF and Virtua Fighter but those are mostly dead)

Thanks, going to check now, see if there's any noticeable framerate shenanigans.

Aren't we getting a Monster Hunter game on Vita?

Yes, and Dragon's Dogma. That's two of their most important IPs!

The main problem is that one is an 5 years old shitty MMO with suscription and microtransactions and the other is a shitty iOS spin-off

Next is Resident Evil
f2p card game xD

I'm really hoping for Ultra Street Fighter 4 on the vita.

Me too, bro. The release date is so far away that they can announce a vita version (and PS4, btw). Hopefully VitaTV will give those Capcom and Square Enix twats reasons to support the vita.

Injustice is
Black Friday
Day 1. Any news of crossplay and cross save?

someone give me clarity on this account thing.

sounds like that if I can deactivate my PSP that i don't own anymore, i SHOULD be able to share my PSN + with my son. (1 account, 2 vitas)

That's how I understood it. You're allowed two home consoles and two handhelds on your account to access downloaded PSN content.

EDIT: There might be an issue if you try to log into PSN for anything on both of them at the same time. Basically, you should turn off your Vita, then go online with your son's to download whatever games he wants to play, then put his in offline mode before turning yours back on. I think that works, but I haven't tried it myself, so I can't confirm.

Anyone here have two Vitas on the same account?

Alright, I deactivated all my systems (had 2 psps on there which i don't own anymore)

I'll format my 16 gb for him tonight and try it out. this means I'll have a few games to sell now if it works out.

and he'll finally leave my vita alone lol
