Art looks gorgeous. So now we got 2 vita exclusive betas coming for October, Starlight Inception and Destiny of Spirits. Plus, Batman Arkahm Origins Blackgate also drops. Coming months should be good for the vita. Especially sales wise in Japan, the vitaTV and Vita2.0 are gonna launch soon.

EDIT: There might be an issue if you try to log into PSN for anything on both of them at the same time. Basically, you should turn off your Vita, then go online with your son's to download whatever games he wants to play, then put his in offline mode before turning yours back on. I think that works, but I haven't tried it myself, so I can't confirm.

I plan to keep my son's in airplane mode unless he wants to use netflix

There is no distinction between PSP and Vitas according to Sony's official support page:

I should note I also had two Vitas active with the same account before I sold my spare.

After some research, it sounds like you can have 2 vitas on one account, assuming you don't have any other PSPs activated and you can't both be online at the same time

this could be perfect for us. feel dumb for having purchased PSN games on his account, but that's minimal

I loathed the Injustice demo... made me wish I was playing MK9.
Someday I may grab the PC version for < $5 just so I can repeatedly beat the hell out of Superman, but I have less interest in actually playing the game in some capacity than I do with DoA5+... and that's saying something.

Im officially a vitabro! Just bougth the Killzone bundle and I was surprised to see that the game isn't a voucher! Just messing with the browser for now until I get home. I have already downloaded PS+ games to my PS3, hopefully copying is fast.

EDIT: Nevermind, it's a voucher. I saw a bluebox and immediately assumed it was the game lol.

I posted this in the PS Plus thread as well, but thought I might have better luck here. Since the PSOne Classics Crash (1&2) and Crash Team Racing are on sale this Tues for NA PS+ members I was wondering if anyone knew if any of them are able to be played on the Vita (yet)?

I'd buy Crash Team Racing again in a heart beat (for $2.99) if I can play it on my Vita. Will they run on the Vita natively though, or will they even work via the whole PS3/Vita transfer trick?

Also, is the original Metal Gear Solid PSOne classic still unable to be played on the Vita? Seems a real shame if that is the case...

You can't play any Crash or Spyro games on the Vita, sadly :'(

About 1/3 way through on New Game+. Persona 4 is hands down the best game on the Vita. The only thing thing missing in my opinion is the Japanese voices.

I looked up the Japanese dub of P4G after finishing it for the first time and didn't really like it. Especially Rie Kugimiya as Rise.
 
Just finished the Steins;Gate anime and now I feel empty inside. Any idea if the Vita game will ever be localized? All I hear about is the PC version (which is good enough for me, tbh. Still curious about the Vita version though.)

Really? Rie Kugimiya is one of my favorite Japanese voice actresses. You didn't like her Rise because of her performance or because her voice didn't fit the character well?

Still, it would be hard for her to find a better fit than Kuroneko imo.


On another note. I'm glad Injustice is coming to Vita, and even more so knowing Armature is behind it. Now, if I only liked fighters :(

The voice she used didn't find the character in my opinion.

Also, Kuroneko is voiced by Kana Hanazawa.

I think it suits Rise's character fine.

I feel that Japanese specific tone and phrases better capture the writer's intentions in Japanese games. However, for obvious reasons, those nuances can be lost in the translation process. Similarly, I think English speaking voice actors generally suit western games better as well.

This isn't to take anything away from Atlus though. I still think that P4G sounds great with the English voice actors.

Excited, knew waiting on it would pay off for a goty and i got a bonus of a Vita version to boot. Love UMvsC3 on Vita. Dont play competitive and mostly just casual single player while watching tv so awesome. Might hold out till Black Friday just in case any deals. Only game im getting now is Blackgate because of a 5 coupon i had and $10 amazon preorder credit. Debating keeping my Ys LE preorder or not because of huge backlog now, just not worth paying full price for games will take forever to get to.

Only speculation: EXTREMELY unlikely. Jast only publishes PC games, and even if they did consoles the Vita would undoubtedly be skipped in favor of 360/PS3.
Totally grab that PC LE though.

How is it too little? Or too late? It's the full console experience in a Vita game and it has only been a few months since the Vanilla version's release. Games don't get old that fast. >_>;
