Certainly you can't be expecting a flood of leaks even when the game has been beaten right? It's going to be pretty slow from here on out.
I like how you put this in a thread where we have already discussed the E4 and champions team roster and typing and seen some legendaries.
Yeah Evice was tricky to defeat, especially when he changes which Pokémon he sends out at the start.
I needed to get his Salamence out of the way as my Quagsire was the only who could take it out with Ice Beam.

I forgot which Pokemon I used to take down his Salamence, but I do remember my Espeon and Umbreon getting KO'd by his Scizor's Silver Wind.
I forgot Bug was super effective to Psychic and Dark...

Question: has there be any word on whether or not Pokemon obtained through private server trades will be okay to use in X and Y?
I do remember a few months back Matsuda talking specifically about not using these Pokemon as they might corrupt the game or whatever. Don't see how that can happen unless somehow GF implemented some sort of authentication process to check each Pokemon being traded into the game to see whether they are legit or not.
Any word on this?

There's probably a legitimacy check to make sure there's a valid PID, name, catch location, etc. They've got various levels of checks in the systems for the PGL and in the official tournaments.
We don't know how thorough the Pokemon Bank will be, but they have the capability to block out all but the most perfect fakes.

For better or worse, I felt the designers had the most fun when designing the Hoenn Pokemon...they're all very colorful (probably to take advantage of the jump to the GBA and the tropical setting), lots of interesting basis for Pokemon (sumo, yogis, sloths, ancient japanese dolls, wind chimes, oni, mongoose, easter island head), and some neat little gimmicks and such. It's my favorite set of Pokemon for all those reasons.
I can understand people disliking Ruby and Sapphire for dropping some of the features and locking many old Pokemon to other games, but the Pokemon are top-notch and if Ruby and Sapphire didn't have those new hardware itches, I bet they'd easily been accepted into the "canon" Original 250 group.

Is Aggron a good Pokemon? It's pretty bulky, but those weaknesses :S

Oh alright. Thanks for that. I ended up using private server trades to finish up some of the pokedex that I otherwise wouldn't have been able to finish. Now I'm not sure which Pokemon these were so I'm weary of trading any older Pokemon into X and Y until this is known, which I'm sure will be pretty soon.

Its typing is the main thing that keeps it from being a good Pokemon.
It's got a pretty meh movepool too, so that does it few favors.
The only thing that can save Aggron is a souped up version of Solid Rock
