This all happens towards the end of the game, right? I'd wager that many reviewers got to about the 3rd gym, copy pasted their last Pokemon review with a few new bits here and there, and called it a day.

I assumed she got through the Elite Four as she knows of the existence of Mega Gardevoir.

True. I think he just created everything and then let it alone to its own devices to either thrive or destroy itself. That's how I see it anyways

Dunno about that. After BW took the traditional story structure for a loop, I'm not sure if reviewers would feel confident in guessing the ending.
 
What if Mega Tyranitar's stone is exclusive to X, and Mega Aggron's stone is exclusive to Y? After all...

Pre-ordered Y, was going to pass, but the 3d graphics and the hype has won me over. Really like that you can have one of the original starters as well.

Why do leakers miss this out as well as the reviews? What. the. fuck

probably because the NPC dialogue - the core story itself nonwithstanding, but it's hard not to consider NPC dialogue part of the story when it's one of the most important elements of worldbuilding in a JRPG - is more than likely (following in BW/2's footsteps in being) just terrible, bad, awful, built seemingly specifically for eight year olds, with absolutely no awareness on GF/translator's part that people older than eight even play Pokemon, or that dialogue with all-ages appeal is an actual thing even though half of fucking Nintendo has mastered that specific craft.
