We should be one happy family dudes :(

Gen II didn't have that many new Pokés (which I found a bummer) but it had

decent (Meganium) to great (Feraligatr) starter final evos:

yup, it's clear, if you hate Gen II you are a racist and hate Japan, the country Pokémon was made

I can't help you with that :( Garchomp is just too awesome but you must find the light by yourself.

that's what someone who likes Gen III the most would say
Are all of these guys in XY?

The Cerulean Cave and the three birds are a better postgame than the sorry excuse of a postgame called Azelf, Uxie and Mespirit.

The sprites weren't even postgame. That's also completely ignoring the Battle Zone bonus island, Turnback Cave and all the other extra bits that popped up after you got crowned champion.

It's not exactly controversial to state that RBY factually had the least to do post-game.

A single dungeon where you capture Mewtwo. You can construct as much fanfic around that as you'd like, but it is what it is.

So we have new Pokemons out of the way, what about other stuff.

Did 'super training' turn out to be any quicker or more transparent than the EV stuff we've been doing for years? Have IVs been normalized/are they less important? HM use cut back at all?

It should be much easier by default. Seems like the better you do in a mini-game the higher the base stat gain. Time saver to be sure.

What I want to know is if there is some sort of instant all EV eraser/reset. Building up those points prior to whenever super training unlocks will still take its toll if not.

The Birds aren't post game, in fact you could get Zapdos with three badge and breeze the entire game.

lol

dont liked the even less dificult than previous games

I agree with point 1,2 and 4 but I wouldn't tell someone skip the game because of them.

Hell I still hyped for the game despite those flaws.

let's not even talk about the blobs known as back sprites.

Charmeleon back sprite was a mess, it looked like a hippo. :|

I hope Red & Blue will release on eShop one day. Gimme dat nostalgia, FR and LG aren't the same.

Yeah, the original gen 1 and 2 will never be released on the e-shop.

How fast are the battles though? Can we turn off battle animations? From what I see, the text still looks gloriously quick.

"No post game content"

Compared to what? I spend most of my time in black white post game breeding and finding new pokémon.

"No story"

lol, yeah I often play pokemon for it's gripping storyline. I wonder if the crime syndicate will be naughty in this one?

etc

cba to go through and counter subjective bull****

edit:

Pokémon X&Y start speedily. There’s no faffing around, and it’s not long before you’re fighting other Trainers in brutal combat and approaching your first gym. It’s a confident beginning, but what it lacks early on is a challenge, and it’s easy to plod through the early stages.

This soon changes, and although it is never outlandishly difficult, it balances and becomes much more compelling as the challenge ramps up.

X&Y are familiar on the surface, but nothing about each game is untouched in Game Freak’s amazing Pokémon revolution.
