Vita PSN Game & Service Thread | October 2013 | Ver 2000, Batman and some Angry Birds

Nope.

It's very very short (2.5/3 hours max) with empty ugly arenas and not enough enemies types to keep you interesting in killing them, very repetitive and the combat system is really lacking and just shallow with bad camera. not sure if Vita Rebirth version fixed any of that but I doubt it.

The reason it was mediocre was the technical issues.

As usual, don't necessarily listen to Totobeni. Malicious has its faults but it can still be an enoyable experience. Kind of a 3d arena/boss rush focused Mega Man-ish game.

It seems the bundle isn't real:

The JStevenson quote means nothing, he don't deny it. The only thing that he says is that won't release sooner than the PS3 version. My guess is that the bundle is real (as the game), but the release date is wrong or only placeholder.

The Vita 2000 and 64gb card won't be out in the west until next year. So that R+C bundle will be OLED (if it's real).

I haven't heard this directly, but there's hints that when the 2000 does come out over here it will be with another price drop.

plenty of time for people to buy a backup Oled Vita then. good.

I'd prefer an original R&C and for someone to do a competent job on R&C Trilogy than a cross-platform release of Into the Nexus. If I'm going to get something with performance issues and scaled down visuals, it might as well be the original trilogy, and an original game would sidestep all that stuff. All three things would be fine, though.

I m might get Atomic Ninjas it sound alright, also I getting "It's the Same Damn Thing For 15 years with no core changes Y" in few days so I don't have time for anything else this week(or next week).

For $15, even if the framerate on Malicious Rebirth was a solid 60fps, I don't know that I'd bite. $10 or under for sure.

it's super short with nothing good going, even $5 is pushing it.

I bought the PS3 game when it released in NA with PS+ discount for $8 and liked it enough. My problem with it was (1) I kept trying to go for the "don't repair yourself" trophy and (2) I kept getting frustrated with the slowdown that occurred as I was learning the game.

I'd be happy to buy the Vita version for the same $8, even $10 to cover the additional content they added IF they had fixed the framerate. $15 + $2 for a costume? No thanks.

The Atomic Ninja devs said there's cross-platform online play, so there might actually be people to play against going forward... which was my main concern. Not sure if I want it, still. I've got my eye on Samurai Gunn for that kind of game. I'll wait until I see some video from some of my youtube subs that can detail what's in it.

I have a weakness for worms games, im really itching to buy it but $15... $10 would have been the sweetspot, and also it has spotty framerate according to some videos i have seen... hmm...

BlueMaxima's video turned me off that. Was looking forward to it.

Malicious Rebirth and Atomic Ninjas both look interesting to me, so I'm anxious to hear some impressions from VitaGAF. I'm trying to be a little more frugal towards Vita purchases, lol.

Holy shit. Drop it to ~$150 and the $500 bundle could actually happen.

Original Vita has the best smile :D

Is this a sale or a new base price?

Temporary sale, according to the blog.

I hope Vita people avoid this awful game and buy good games.

$30 is a steal for Dragon's Crown.
Just cause you didn't like it doesn't make it "an awful game".

However, I don't think you'll ever realize that people can like things you don't. :lol

I find that I generally (though not always) disagree with your opinions. However, you are free to give them for the games I mentioned and I will read them.

it's an awful games because of all the flaws and mistakes it does, and I don't have to write it again, I already did in this same thread.

Sure people can like many thing, some can like shitty games like Dragon's Crown I get that and I just like to give Vita guys a warning on what I think are bad games (and I post my reasons and why I think the games are awful if one asked me) so they don't waste their money and in the end have a better experience with Vita.

Are the Crash games still not playable on Vita? WTF SCEA?!?!

Activision fault (SCEA asked but they refused) according to our Sony insider dude

Man, I miss the days when I could download a game off PSN without my Vita getting stuck and me having to reboot the thing. I should punish Sony by not buying games until they fix it, but I also know that I love this platform and if I don't buy things, it might go away. It just seems like such a long time to let this issue go on.
