Any starter requests are easy really. Most common is that they usually ask for another starter.

I'm just hoping the game has a soft reset button combo as Home>close software is going to get tiring trying to get female starters.

Didn't they confirm soft resetting?

So I take it the best natures for the starters are +Def-SpA for Chespin, +SpD-Def for Froakie, and +SpA-Atk for Fennekin.

The trick with the GTS was to just put up a request for what you wanted attached to something of equivalent value (another starter, the opposite version exclusive, what have you). Searching was often pretty useless for the aforementioned reasons but you'd usually get what you wanted that way.

Generally trading directly within communities was better though, of course.

I think the reason I wanted Chespin at first was because it was just super cute but his final Evo feels like...he's tough enough to handle himself. He's a big boy. I don't want to be a burden on him. A tsundere Pokemon needs a baka like me to keep it company. Man I'm so confused :$

Greninja can learn bounce I do believe. He also has a base speed of 120.

Delphox can use both Psychic and Flamethrower.
Greninja can use Ice beam, Extrasensory or Bounce.

Both are faster than him. Just choose Chespin, stick an Everstone on him and box him as soon as you can get Bulbasaur. Trust me on this .

We'll never have the glory that was G/S/C (HG/SS) again. They just don't want to do it. Not only was it the only game where you had two whole regions to explore, the sequel went on to make it so that you also could have any pokemon walk behind you. Best fucking gen ever.
