Also, do Venusaur and Blastoise also get game specific Mega Evolutions like Charizard? Or only Charizard? How hard is it to obtain the mega evolution stones? I would like to know how hard it would be to trade with someone to get the opposite game's mega evolution stones.

You can easily buy the stones for the Kanto starters, unsure about any of the others though.

Wow, GAF is being weird today. :p

There's some videos of Amie on /vp/

One of doduo, one for Raichu, and Roselia. A vid of the first gym, and second vid, too.

Has there been a confirmation on Mega Gyarados's typing? I think I remember reading that a bug attack did neutral damage? Or was it super effective?

Well seems that Delphox still has it's wand. It keeps it in it's sleeves. I wonder if the official art would show it then.

... Ok

What does this mean exactly?

And Dat FOX just made things potentially more awesome!

Originally we assumed that the three Pokedexes went up to 150, which would mean 450 total Pokemon obtainable in the game, which is where we were getting confirmation of the 70 new Pokemon rumor. If they go higher than that and there's more secrets than we thought, there might be more Pokemon hiding in X and Y, new and old.

My copy arrived today!

I have to say after all the hate I've read and anti-hype I was worried but it's exactly like I thought it would be..

A pokémon 3ds game.

It's amazing.

also..

Pika Pika!

Do we know yet if mega evolutions 'stick' after evolving? Like, if I mega evolve, switch out, and switch back in, will it still be mega?

Is Banette part of the 450 in the regional Pokedexes?

I ask as the guides for past few versions have been a walkthrough first then a later release of a complete Pokedex (I'd imagine this is timed to the Banks release).

Japanese (and other non-English) guides may be different.

Yeah I just saw that they don't have the Pokedex but rather the Kalos Guide. Bummer.

I don't like that angle much. Looks just like a fat Gyarados.

I don't think Gyrados translates well to 3D. He tends to look goofy in the anime as well. Not entirely the Mega's fault. He's only super badass from the front with a hint of his tail.

EDIT: Ooops. Read your question wrong. Also, person who replied first has the correct answer.

Meh Geomancy being a Solarbeam like Quiver dance is kinda meh. I guess it works if you switch in on something that will be scared out by Xerneas.

Nice to see Moltres Dex entry at the end of the Coastal Dex. Clearly that's where the Legendary birds are all hiding out.

This also confirms Alomomola (verifying one of my predictions) and frees up the last cluster in the Mountain Dex (which means I'm putting Clefairy back in).

I'm guessing we may see Latios & Latias in the Central Dex and Mew in the Mountain Dex as well.

Thanks for the quick answers. Good to know, that makes the more defensive megas and stuff like magic bounce way more useful then.

He just needs to be longer. Mega looks like they just didn't extend him enough.

Depends on wether it actually loses both turns on charging/activating or just the first one. I'd doubt they'll give him worse Quiver Dance for his signature move.
