I am going to be so pissed if Deoxys ends up without a Mega form if that's true. The entire concept of its formes was that it would be the absolute best in the area it was focused in at the expense of everything else, so Mewtwo suddenly beating it at its own game with no further sacrifice than a held item kinda cheapens Deoxys' core mechanic.

Well Deoxys attack form still outspeeds him and can KO with the right attack maybe. I'm just pissed that Gardevoir Pixililate options are only Hyper Voice and Hyper Beam.

What are the other threads?

I have to come into the thread squinting so I don't see any spoilers lol. I just found that fact really interesting.

EDIT: Holy shit, some of those threads have over 20,000 posts (which is when threads are closed for the next thread), so that technically means only the Video Game facts thread is truly ahead.

.

A list of the towns/cities in the order you visit them in aswell as the gym types and leaders of those cities would be great (pushing my look a little but a sentence about each town/city would be nice too)

True enough. Though it still doesn't change Mewtwo's much more solid defenses (not that that takes much) and hp. As for Gardevoir that is indeed a massive waste of opportunity.

What Animal is Yvetal based off in the Norse mythos? It almost seems like a shout-out to Marvel's Dark Phoenix.
Yveltal is based on the Norse myth of the Blind Eagle of Yggdrasil. Xerneas is the Stag of Yggdrasil (or rather, a combination of numerous stags, each of which had one of his colored gems in their antlers). And Zygarde is the world serpent beneath the roots of Yggdrasil.

Not quite. Zygarde is more likely based on Nidhugg (or Nidhoggr), the lindwyrm or dragon who lived in the underworld and gnawed on one of the roots of Yggdrasill. The world serpent (or Midgard serpent, or Jormungandir) was another beast entirely and encircled the entire world through the ocean that was believed to surround it (hence the myth where Thor catches it on a fishing trip due to a bet).

Does anyone have a rough estimate as to how many hours it takes to get from the beginning of the game to the Kanto starters?

I read that Mega Gardevoir's ability Pixelate does the same with Normal moves becoming Fairy moves.

If any Pokemon should had Pixilite is this mother fucker right here.

Usable moves.

Fairy Swift
Fairy Uproar
Fairy Facade
Fairy Return/Frustation
Fairy Hyper Beam/Giga Impact
Fairy Last Resort
Fairy Explosion

OH MY GOD.

Some of the abilities introduced this gen are absolute game changers.
Going to be fun trying to figure out ways to counter them.

How can you guys hate on Aromatisse? Look at this hilarious mofo:

It's going to be in my team just because it makes me laugh just looking at it.

OK, I have to say, I fucking love this pokemon. It's a Toulouse Lautrec dancing girl with a face that looks like a plague priest mask named Aromatisse. Plague incense? Yeah? So goddamn cool! It's a cute, fluffy, unassuming plague priest, what's not to love?
