imo this gen has the best starters ever, yes, even better than kantos(just by a tiny bit though) and it looks like greninja has topped my favorite starter of all time, feraligatr. really a step up from the previous gen.

Ordered a 2DS and Pokémon Y. Thread hyped me up so much.
The legendary trio for Kalos are
Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres
So if I don't use the Exp. Share and no Mega evolution then the should be a challenge for me.
However I doubt it since I train my Pokémon evenly.

Nah, Cynthia is awesomer.
Probably because the idea with Mega Evolution is to elevate normal Pokemon to legendary-like stats. As such, less actual legendaries. I'm fine with this.

as in 1 the game recognizes that you haven't used it and institutes a more difficult level curve? or that 2 the game is harder than the last few in regards to level curve/AI/whatever and Exp. Share is there to balance that, sorta like the EXP Breeders in BW2?
