New Safari Zone thing sounds fun, also it seems you could possibly encounter non-Kalos Pokemon too? And Hidden Abilities? Wow.

I need to get some Friends, stat!

Even Steel/- is a better choice. Rock really hinder's my boy usability. Also I'm sad at the lack of new Mega Stones, I was so pumped for Banette.
There's nothing to suggest Mega Banette isn't in the game.

Also, I -really- hope Mega Tyranitar and Mega Aggron are in the new Coro Coro.

Serebii's got a Kalos Regional Dex up and reports Dratini/Dragonair/Dragonite to be 145-147 in the mountain dex. Did that get confirmed anywhere else?

According to serebii, the Corocoro Magazine has a code giving out a Garchomp, next issue they will explain where to get it's Mega Stone. So far nothing more.

Each Pokemon seems to have a Physical and Special animations which can be viewed in the status screen by interacting with the Pokemon in certain ways

Dunno if this is old, but I just tried a bit of Super Training and stumbled upon a 'Reset Bag'. If you use it for core training it 'completely resets all of the base stats of a Pokémon.'

No more messing around with EV reducing berries, it seems. I got two by having no special training bag selected and whacking on the basic bag.

Mewtwo X is Mewgeto

Now I don't have to worry about my very first run

This is quite possibly the best news so far.

Exclusives list

Nooo heracross you're supposed to be in X!!!

Oh well, at least Mightyena and Houndoom are.

Seems like the rumors of mega tyranitar and aggron are not true or mixed up - since Aggron is in X and Tyranitar is in Y.

What's the general opinion of downloading this game from the eShop? Am I better off going to get a physical copy in terms of being able to play this game 5+ years from now?

Trading between X and Y will be available Day 1 right? GAF members are always more than willing to trade exclusives with each other, nothing to get too worked up about.

Mega Stones might not be so easy to trade, as there might be just one Mega Stone per game.

Remaining holes plugged in the Kalos regional Pokedex...

COASTAL DEX

019: Taillow
020: Swellow

141: Clamperl
142: Huntail
143: Gorebyss

146: Corsola (yay, I got another prediction right!)

MOUNTAIN DEX

014: Shuckle (got this one right, too)

068: Rotom

109: Spearow
110: Fearow

129: Bonsly
130: Sudowoodo (typical tricky tree - hiding out in an empty trio spot instead of where a tandem would fit)
131: Spinda

134: Lickitung
135: Lickilicky

145: Dratini
146: Dragonair
147: Dragonite (see Dragonite fans - nothing to worry about)

So much for my theory about Game Freak wanting all of the non-specialty Pokemon lines available in either Gen 5 or Gen 6. Well, I suppose when they extend Gen 6 in the next game, they'll make room for Dusknoir, Glalie and Froslass.

This is also confirmation of no Togepi and no Mega Galvantula. We could have used an extra electric spider, too.

That news about the ability to instantly reset the base stats (EVs) is excellent. Now if only there were a way to change a Pokémon's nature (I.E. that which affects stat growth)...
