Nice gesture with PSN+ discount but american copy is still so much cheaper.
Yeah, it happens a lot.
One of the other things that bugs me about the Vita store is the way it won't load half of the contents. For instance, if you go into a page of sales, you'll see the first few games come up, and then.. emptiness, while the little spinning icon in the top left does its' thing.
It is good, especially playing smaller titles, but I wouldnt call it amazing.
I still think they should have kept the size of the OG vita and increased the battery life further.

Unfortunatly that's not how corporate thinking works.
If consumers are ok with 4-5 hours it's better to drop battery size and save few cents on each unit.

You should consider getting PS+, it is easily worth it and will get you Gravity Rush and Uncharted: Golden Abyss, which are must haves, next to other games.
Your initial buy list seems good, maybe you should also get some indie games. Guacamelee, Hotline Miami, Spelunky, Velocity Ultra, Rymdkapsel (PS Mobile) and Sound Shapes should be considered. Also try out Frobisher Says!, its free anyway.

My dragon's crown copy just arrived and damn, this game is better than i imagined. It makes me feel so nostalgic.
I'd add Rayman, Guacamelee, Uncharted GA (PS+), Sonic Transformed (not sure how the online mp is) and Disgaea 3.

Rayman Origins and then, if you like it, Rayman Legends. There is very little chance you won't like it.
Also, buy a subscription to PS+.

While I hope they keep the game size sub-500mb, and I hope they charge something acceptable ($20?) I'll still be buying it anyway. Will probably be playing it past the video I will end up doing on it too. Dunno why.

Been having a blast with mine.
Already had a great time with Uncharted, LBP and KZM. Tried a little Motorstorm and Sine Mora too.
Trying to get into Gravity Rush now. I love the Steampunk feel but not sure I'm that keen on the controls though. Good to see them try something fresh though.

Sad to see the engine didn't scale down well at all on the Vita. I would have much preferred an original title built from the ground up on the Vita like Open Warfare.

I completely forgot to pre-order the Vita version to get the artbook so I guess I'll wait awhile to pick it up.

Grabbed Dragon's Crown, didn't know there was a plus discount, but quite happy about that. Won't play it until I'm done with pokemon though

Because there are lots of great PSP games that you can play on your Vita! The Ys series, Persona 2/3, Dissidia 012, Patapon, etc~

The graphics in Virtua Tennis are beautiful. It's really amazing, especially the clay courts. The colours are so nice on that screen.
I downloaded the WipEout HD and Fury expansion packs for WipEout 2048. It's great getting them for free, but wow the resolution is pretty low. It's really blurry, and nowhere near as pretty as 2048 is. I know it's a dynamic resolution and all, it's just that it spends a hell of a lot more time on the low-rez setting than the full-rez one.

Check out Corpse Party if you're looking for something creepy to play this Halloween. The audio on that game is something else (make sure to play in the dark with headphones).

I'm gonna play some Malicious Rebirth and go back to my 3DS for Pokemon, then I probably wont touch it again for another six months and revert back to playing my Vita a bunch.
I don't think Dragons Crown got a digital release there sadly.
That's a good month. Good for those who don't own those games yet, a shame I own all them minus Remember Me.

Shit, I was planning on getting Stranger's Wrath for my Vita down on the line. Now I can have it for free. Cool. Still, if I love it i'll buy it. Indie developers and Atlus always deserve my money xD
And I dunno about MotorStorm RC. It's a top down racer, right?
It's a bite-sized top down racer with a pretty decent ranking/competition system. If you have a couple of people who you can regularly compare lap times to, and you're into doing time trials, it's enjoyable.
MotorStorm RC's pretty fun if you enjoy top down racers like Micro Machines but it's not for everyone. I'd still recommend giving a try to see if you like it if you're on the fence.

I played that game for hours at launch. Trying to shave off a few seconds, trying to beat people on my friendslist and topping the leaderboards was really addicting. I haven't gone back after I got the platinum though. I wonder if it's still as much fun now that it's harder to rank high on the leaderboards and most friends probably stopped playing.

It's likely Uncharted and Gravity Rush will be replaced during November though. I figure LittleBigPlanet is a given, with the other being something like PlayStation All-Stars or Hot Shots/Everybody's Golf.
I'm expecting these as well. That'll be full on fail as far as I'm concerned (own EG and LBP digitally, didn't care for PSABR). ^_^
It's been such a fantastic service for me, I won't complain for a few rough titles.

LBP Vita apparently not up for consideration for IGC according to comments on the blog (Mentioned in the PS+ thread). Same story with Resistance it seems.

Yes yes yes. I started figuring out the weapon switch and now it's just... slightly fun enough to get fun out of the time I put in. But, it's just barely. Maybe I'll keep playing the the PS3 version. I'll think about EDF instead.
Daaamn. The vita stuff I'm impartial on but the PS3 stuff is nice. Motorstorm might be good.
It was around 1gb. The PS3 version was 1.5.

Anyway, it's a weak list for a whole year. It's really sad when we see that after Golden Abyss, Gravity and Wipeout we don't have many games on the same level.

They only stopped asking for suggestions, what, maybe 2 weeks ago and they've already said that they made some proposition to some publisher about bringing something over. It really depends what the game(s) is(/are) in question. My guess would be that we'll perhaps start seeing something in Q2-Q3 2014, if all goes well.
It's right in the german PSN store under 'aktuelles'. You can't possibly miss it, I just bought it there today.
