No no no, all I was saying was that the crime was absolutely despicable and that I don't know how Adrian keeps the faith after all he's been through.

His brother was killed by a drunk driver at the age of 7. His half brother was murdered right before he entered the NFL, and now his son was tragically murdered at the age of 2. It's awful that all these things keep happening to him, he's a very good person and does a lot for the community of Minnesota.

He has a long rap sheet. CBS South Dakota reports: Court documents reveal the 27 year old has been arrested multiple times on various charges. He was arrested in 2004 for violating a protection order, but that was later dropped by the prosecutor. A 2012 arrest for aggravated assault was also dismissed by a prosecutor. Patterson has served time in jail for Eluding officers in 2010. He was also sentenced to five days in jail after pleading guilty to simple assault last year. The 2012 assault Patterson was against the mother of his son. He underwent court-ordered anger-management training. It's reported that Patterson went to high-school with the woman he's accused of harassing in 2004.

The fucked up thing with these cases is that the child usually suffers before they die. It's not usually a case of where they are beaten and die on the spot. The story says he died a few days later. Essentially, the skulls of kids that young aren't either fully formed yet or aren't as thick yet as an adult's (think of like three plates that haven't fully fused yet and aren't as thick as a an adult's skull). What happens is that kids are more susceptible to skull fractures at that age. Usually, what happens is that they slowly bleed to death due to the blunt force trauma. The blood collects into a mass, the brain swells and the ever-increasing pressure kills your brain cells and vital blood flow. A bleeding brain isn't pretty. Think of the worst headache you've ever had and multiply it by like 100. Blood on the brain does all kinds of fucked up shit too like causing seizures or impairing a person's motor or cognitive abilities.

What the hell? I heard a report today that the kid was in ICU, and didn't know why. I hadn't heard of the beating. Wow! That is absolutely brutal. I feel saddened for AP and his family. That is a terrible loss.

Who the hell beats a 2 year old, much less to the point of hospitalization and death? That is just sick. That guy needs the book thrown at him. If he doesn't have murder charges against him, he deserves it. The prison system (many of whom are probably AP fans) will make sure he pays the price for this. That's just disgusting behavior. PEACE.
