No the only one. I'd love that 3 game bundle on shopto to be KZ,watch dawgs and ACIV but it has BF4 instead of AC :/ kinda surprising AC isn't in a bundle

I feel like these bundles are to sell the games that they're worried won't sell. They've already sold out of consoles so there's no need to tempt people into a console purchase with these bundles, the only reason for them is to get people to buy games they otherwise wouldn't have.

I guess Ubisoft (and retailers) are a lot more confident in the performance of AC than they are in Watch Dogs, and stuff like Battlefield and FIFA will sell way better on current-gen consoles so they're bundled too. It wouldn't surprise me if Killzone ended up metacriticking around 60% because Sony has no confidence in it selling outside the bundles, whereas Knack is absent and would have made a brilliant bundle. If Knack was there instead of Killzone I'd have bought that gamer bundle days ago for £450.

I saw Mario Tennis 3DS in Sainsburys yesterday for £10. Is that a bargain for that game? I played the living crap out of the N64 original but didn't take to the Cube sequel with all the annoying gimmick shots that couldn't be avoided in single player. What's the feeling on the 3DS iteration?

What's the best price for Pokemon X/Y at the mo? Little sister wants it for her birthday, and I just bought a new TV so don't want to spend more than I need to :P
I think Tesco in store was £33 if you need it quicker. It comes with the 12 quick balls code which should not really be a bearing on the price

People were bitter about no RPG mode (the GBC and GBA games had this) and the online being region locked. I don't remember much else impressions-wise but £10 is good price.

Sainsburys might not actually have the game though (I'm recalling my Kid Icarus experience, loads of £15 dummy boxes on shelf, not a single copy in the storeroom).

Thanks Cheap arse Gaf! :D

Well the lack of RPG mode is a huge plus for me. That irritated the tits off me in the previous handheld iterations. Region locked online doesn't bother me either especially since I probably wouldn't even bother with that mode.

Oh dear [lol].

Hm, on reflection I'm not that desperate to play it but £10! Old cheap arse GAFer habits die hard I guess. Thanks for helping me come to a decision. £5 impulse buy it is! :)

Nice, but dont forget the memory card!

Already got a spare 8GB one and will be getting the 64GB ones when they are released here. Or if it takes too long I might import. ;)
This will be my second system that will be used primarily for Japanese PSP and PSone games since I missed out on most of the PSP stuff for dumb reasons. And possibly for Japanese only DLC for certain titles. (Gundam Breaker for instance)

Uhh, wow...

Wait, how does this work, GAME sells the eShop version of pokeymans cheaper than Nintendo does?

Eeeyup, Game are allowed to set their prices for eshop downloads (to some degree anyway) so they can sell the Pokemon download code for cheaper than Nintendo has it up for. Pikmin 3 was cheaper than eshop too (which is why a lot of people jumped on that, cheap Pikmin with even cheaper W101)

Never go with the eshop download unless your willing to pay the little extra for the convenience or there happens to be a sale (the Monster Hunter one from a few weekends ago was pretty ace)

Are there any good deals on Sonic: Lost World for 3DS? Best I can find is Amazon for £27.99. I'm putting it through Flubit now but I'm (foolishly) hoping I can get it for a fantastic price somewhere.

EDIT: Seems that most retailers are sticking to £29.99 with a few price-matching Amazon to £27.99. Really hoping that Flubit will come through for me this time.

It's ridiculous that we are in a situation where it is cheaper to buy from GAME of all places if you want to go all digital.

I couldn't help buying pikmin 3 and w101 from GAME, and I'll probably pick up pokemon next week too.

And of course with GAME I can collect and use Reward Points, which is handy (as you can see, with the points it almost matches Tesco's £32 price, so I'm very tempted - couldn't find any when I went to Fulbourn Tesco yesterday).

EDIT: Tesco has Clubcard points too of course, but I thought these were only on Tesco branded products or something?

Reward points at GAME are a scam imo. They charge £39.99 for brand new 3DS games in store and you get like 60p-1.20 in "reward" points to use next time. I guess it's fine if you like using GAME, but personally I despise the store.

Don't have much choice when they have exclusivity on something. :/

Was just about to buy a vita from tesco but it looks like they have no stock now. Amazon deal also looks to be dead. Anyone got any links for any working offers. Wish I'd gone with it last night when I was looking.

Maybe check in store if you have one close, it was certainly still on offer yesterday when I was in there.

Also they have a pretty decent deal on the PS3

12GB Super Slim with extra DS3, GT5, R&C:CiT and LBP2 for £150

Nope you get Clubcard points on everything.

So I just got Vita and I am new to PSN. Do they do 48 trial codes for PS+ or anything like they do on Live?

Where is cheapest to buy PS+ yearly subscriptions if I can't get a trial? I will probably pick one up later this month.

Im in the UK by the way.

Sony sometimes do deals or promos for Plus, but you missed the recent 2 extra month promo for a year purchase.

Cheapest I can find on a quick scout is Amazon at £37 for a year, and £9 for 3 months - I would suggest getting one before the months out as Touch my Katamari and Jak and Daxter Trilogy Vita are currently available as free titles.

I've a trial code at home you can have, will PM you when I get there in a couple of hours if you haven't gotten one by then.

Tempted to get a 2DS as its priced attractively. Or should I snag a cheaper original 3DS. Not too bothered about an XL, for the resolution of the DS screen it just seems like it isn't really necessary.

Does zavvi/thehut still send out 10% discount codes? I havent got any from them in ages, i remember last year they used to send them frequently.

The official Nintendo Wii U gamepad high capacity battery is £24.99 at amazon. Anyone know anywhere cheaper? I want to go official, but £25 is a bit steep for 3 hours of extra battery life.

2DS only £999.99! (also 2DS + Animal Crossing bundle for £129.99).

Neat to see a Nintendo online store. Hopefully they fix the borked non-bundle prices, though :P
Haha, that must have happened this afternoon. I checked this morning and they were normal prices. Same for 3DS XLs too.

Edit: Incidentally the Pokemon 3DS XL LE lists Pokemon X for Wii U as well lol?

I'm intrigued by the White Wii Classic Controller Pro they appear to have listed:-
http://store.nintendo.co.uk/games/games-accessories/wii-classic-controller-white/10848420.html
AFAIK The White Pro Controller has never been released at retail in Europe?

The confusing part is the title and description dont mention its a "Pro" controller, despite the picture clearly showing a Pro, so perhaps its actually a listing for the original Wii Classic Controller (Which was only available in White) with an incorrect picture? I'm tempted to buy one, but I cant be bothered with the whole return process if its actually just an incorrect picture.

...Also, lol at the release date!
