I've seen VK3 on the shelves in VA.

This is unconfirmed, but apparently the street date for VK3 has been lifted in the U.S for gamestop, so if you're lucky, then maybe you can go on monday and get it a day early =/

I dont know but it could be due to lack of pre orders and no pre order bonuses, maybe, thats just my guess.

—I’m sure you’ve heard of the #JRPGVita movement on Twitter. Many of these requests have been for the PS Vita Tales games. Are there any updates on their localization?

Baba: I have received so many requests about the PS Vita Tales of titles from fans. But, as of now, I don’t have any specific plans to release those titles in western countries.

so its gonna be type-0 right?

Hopefully this is a good place to ask, but I'm looking at getting a Vita off off craigslist. $200 for killzone, 32gb memory card and a power grip. I know its a gamble on craigslist, but I've always had good results. Mainly going to use it for classics and eventually when I probably get a ps4.

You guys think it's okay to bite on it?

It would be weird to announce a localization in a interview.

Sounds like a great deal make sure to check buttons and screen before you hand him the money(don't worry about the weird black spots on the screen when dark).

I live in VA and too can confirm VK3 is on shelves as we speak. Was thinking of getting it, but I remembered the free version on PSN and stopped myself.

Makes you wish Sony would supplement early releases with an early digital release. Been wanting VK3 for a while.

With SCEA? Keep dreaming.

We can't even get the pre-load option EU has gotten on some games or the entire month of PS+ upfront so Vita only people don't have to wait 2-3 weeks before their content is live. I sincerely doubt the Grace Chen All-Stars are going to be up to the task of allowing purchase of digital content prior to store updates.

The added 32GB card certainly makes that an enticing deal. I'd say go for it at that price as long as the Vita isn't in terrible shape.

So I've been (trying) to enjoy the Walking Dead S 1 on my new Vita. Trouble is, it's laggy as fuck. Almost unplayable in certain places. I don't have any other apps on at the time. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? The OS is updated to the latest version BTW.

Any thoughts?

Nothing you can do mate, that's just how the port is :(

Still a fantastic game if you can muddle through though.

The person answering the question is the producer of the Tales games. Shahid said something to the effect that they were trying, but ultimately you're not going to land a game every time.
Yeah, but we've got this Tales producer saying "nah, it's not happening" while Tabata from SQEX has been all "we are hearing you loud and clear, Agito is a companion game to Type-0 so releasing it in the west without Type-0 would be silly" and the like that sound like they are still actively thinking of Type-0's localization now and then.

You know a Resident Evil Mercenaries game would be damn amazing on Vita.
Capcom could take the mechanics from RE6 then add levels and such from RE4 and 5.
So basically an even better version then what we saw on 3DS.

Of course that'll never happen no RE:R on vita pretty much confirmed capcoms hate for the system

bought malicious rebirth yesterday and have been playing around with it, over gameplay is pretty decent, but the sound effects of the attacks seem really sub-par.

sure, as an adults only *snort*

Probably not since EU hasn't got a date.

You could always play it on a US account, if you're not bothered about trophies.

It's not about trophies, is about being forced to play only that game :(

I love the details on her abs and the game released early too

http://thevitalounge.net/valhalla-knights-3-releases-early/
IIRC she is wearing the "shameless bikini armor"(or a similar name) dlc armor lol

Anyway i like her details too, graphics are better than people think imo, consider that the main character is a custom character(and probably the others of the party too like in vk2, remember that custom characters need more details to look on par with premade characters), the equipment is visible and there are up to 14 people on the screen.
Poligonally it looks better than other jrpgs on vita, it's just the sub native res and the graphics style that makes it look less appealing imo.

nevermind, the Powergrip is not available in the EU :((

I really LOVE my Vita so far but that battery life is absolutely atrocious, even my old 3000 PSP last a lot longer :(

Oh, you don't wanna go through the hassle of having a 2nd account?

I already have a second japanese account(and a third american one on the ps3 lol), but i use that account rarely and only to play all the new demos i missed, once i tried them all i immediately return to my eu account.

Buuuut if you want VK3 with the DLC... :D

Does Dragon's Crown have any pvp? Does it have any reference in the story to either Odin's Sphere or GrimGrimoire? Played both and enjoyed them.

Am i the only one with issues with total recoil?
Total recoil is an easy but fun top down shooter(and it's really cheap too), it always worked well but for some reason recently it always freezes(the game, not vita) if i want to make another mission after finishing one.
If i push buttons as the black screen appears before the mission it doesn't freeze, but it's annoying :(

I played through the Dragon's Crown campaign on normal with a dwarf two days ago. My playtime was around 16 hours. I didn't go straight for the campaign as I played some online and did a lot of sidequests but I think I couldn't have finished much faster anyway as I needed all those levels I grinded.

The presentation with the narrator works really well and I enjoyed the story and all the background information on the world through the sidequests.
The graphics look great on the Vita and the game runs fine. It can only get a little bit overwhelming with all the enemies and effects so you can't really make out your character sometimes.

The gameplay is just plain fun and hooked me easily with its mix of beat em up with a loot focused arpg. The mechanics seem to be well thought out like the lifepoint/continue system (when you want to continue you have to spend an increasing amount of your earned coins) or the bag inventory system (now I know what you mean frost), even though I still prefer classic item slots. The rune system is easy but smart and adds some nice boni for more experienced players.

Unfortunately, many of the mechanics aren't introduced to the player well so you have figure them out for yourself.
I also feel that my moveset as a dwarf was a bit limited because there are just two attack buttons.

The multiplayer should be the heart and soul of this game so I dislike that it was locked up until you cleared all dungeons once and that you have to do it with every character you want to go online. I can understand that they want players to learn their class before jumping online but I still don't think it is a good decision. The online is pretty limited. There is drop in and out, but no real lobbies etc. You can't really start a game with your friends or invite them. They can just see whether you are online and join in. The dungeon setup also doesn't allow for a consistent coop session as people always drop out to manage their stuff and leave you stuck with their NPC, which has a pretty bad AI. Additionally, I had some connection problems and couldn't join a game.

At last I have to mention that I wish there were more dungeons and I hope there will be some DLC because I can see myself spending some time on this game.
A sequel with a bigger more open world you can traverse in between dungeons would be nice.

I listed a lot of negatives but to conclude, you should buy this game, it's great and the core gameplay is very fun. It's a shame that not many people talk about it.

Just beat it recently no PVP from what I could tell and no references either unless they were extremely well hidden for me. However it's recommended regardless of that. Especially with the new update and PS3 Vita Cross play.

I know this isn't exactly the thread for it as it may be more PS3 related and if there is one I'd be glad if you could point me in the direction. Tried asking on the PSN Support forums but no answer.

Last night someone had sent me a friend's request but I didn't want to add them. After I had finished playing, I denied the friend's request from the list. I then went to my my Inbox and was going through the other messages they had sent when I saw the actual message for the friend's request. I went to deny again and normally I get something along the lines of "An error occurred during the add operation. The request to add to friends has already been cancelled" but instead I had an error telling me "The maximum amount of friends has been reached..." etc. I don't have a hundred friends or anything close to that so I thought that was weird.

Has this been introduced in the latest firmware as an error for denying an already denied friend's request?

Maybe it thought you were trying to add him to your friends, but he's already at capacity?
Perhaps, I may try to recreate it again because stuff like that bugs me.

Vita related: I'm most likely not picking it up but I'm still sort of interested in Arkham Origins: Blackgate. Not sure how fun it'd actually be to play but I really do like Arkham Universe for the games.

We have so many Monster Hunter clone in Vita and yet for some reason people don't think of making a Pokemon clone?

Because Pokemon X currently captures my soul.

If you beat the game you should have unlocked PvP in the Colosseum, which I think you get to from the Gate

I think Pokemon isn't something that can be cloned. The various Pokemon have a life of their own haha.
The game play can be cloned but without Pikachu it just isn't the same
