Well, they did say 60fps at E3, it seemed like they were referring to the whole game, not just multiplayer.Wonder if they will do the same as KZ:SF with Halo 5 single player 30fps and Multiplayer 60fps..

Yea, you're right, there are some great games that utilize QTEs out there. I didn't really mean to make that my focus point. It was really about the visuals. I've been reading around that the gameplay is apparently shit for this game, however, I can't really say if it is or isn't because I haven't tried the game out myself. But I wouldn't have posted anything if comments here were more like "wow, looks amazing, I hope the gameplay is awesome too." If we turn into consumers that will buy a game just because it's pretty, but gameplay is subpar, then we'll send the wrong message to developers. Just my two cents.
Spoken like a true fanboy.
Looks great but I'm just not feeling this game at all.
I don't know it is was the horrendous E3 demo or the fact it used to be a Kinect game and is thought to be QTE heavy but there's something not clicking for me.
Eh. Perhaps the story could be the problem. It just seems so insipid. Dead family? Really? Given the rich history of the Roman empire they couldn't find a more compelling story line than that?
"Push A to make Protagonist relatable".
Still others seem to like it so it's clearly finding an audience.

Cg quality indeed.
What program do you use to make gifs?snip
I almost can't believe this is real time. Oh wow. This is near CG quality.
As with all games I have any interest in buying, I refuse to look at any story footage.
For now I just want to know if the footage shown looks "screw your 900p argument" pretty?
There are toilets for this kind of crap, but hey, when you gotta go you gatta go right?
Speaking of "historical accuracy"...
No way in hell that anyone would call archers to deploy the arrows with "FIRREEE!"
It would probably be something along the line of "launch" or "shoot" (inmitto, but sagittent most probably).. but "fire" (ignis/impes)... no way Crytek.
Whatever.
Pre-order cancelled.
Nah... for starters, it needs way more fluid physics to look like an offline render.I almost can't believe this is real time. This is near CG quality.

People wanted so hard to find a "downgrade" in the offscreen footage water. So its was just the offscreen footage losing the details.

I agree. At first I thought the narrator was a gamespot writer describing the video. The voice wasn't epic enough for the footage shown.
His family gets killed, he goes on a vengence...hm does this sound familiar...hmmmm. God of war wanna be?

I like the little speed trail coming off the sword. At first I thought it was a glitch
The new, "Let's do this thing" / "I'm in" gifs.

The era of bald space marines has ended.
I, for one, welcome this brave new hairy world.

Love that there is damage/cuts where the swords went through there.
put it in reverse and it could be the new "I'm out" gif
