Pokémon XY |OT2| Would you like to leave a tip?

I love the new EXP. Share. Experience management is the part I like the least in RPGs (didn't even realize that until I played Xenoblade).

The only problem is now I'll have no excuse to use the less useful Pokemon on my team. If I ever get a classic high PP sweeper, I might just use that 90% of the time.
 
I finished super training my Naughty Charmander. I love how I only have one gym badge, but I essentially have two powerhouse Pokemon ready and EV trained for the future in Charizard X and Mega Blaziken. Super training was such a good idea!

More like Kageyama and Sato if Ichinose's working on remakes and Masuda's directing the games. Ichinose has ben arranging the battle themes Masuda composes since HG/SS, in addition to making Pokémon sounds. So the other two big musicians have had it all to themselves, and the style of the music here reflects that. Still an great soundtrack.

lol, This is the only thing I can talk about since I'm not paying dough for this until it goes on sale (and I'm playing through Emerald right now). It sounds like a great game, but I'm more into movies than ever before, it's healthier for my schedule.

Finally I can upload the pic of my Elite4 team. Especially Raichu and Lucario killed it. Absol will forever stay my favorite Pokemon though.

Wait wait—looks like Ichinose's not involved with this game at all. He's not even listed in the credits for Pokémon voices!

I hope they don't leave me hanging with him a la Morikazu Aoki, who plain just left the games without ceremony. That would suck. Adachi's now a new favorite of mine for simply sounding like Ichinose, just more electronic in general. Hopefully Ichinose's working on another soundtrack or is doing RSE remakes all alone, which would be possible (since he's traditionally arranged Aoki's tracks post-Gen III and arranges Masuda's battle stuff).
 
Had to double-check the weakness chart just now because I felt like EVERY Pokemon in my team was weak to Fighting. This stupid Throh was giving my Pokemon some problems with Karate Chop :/

I felt the same way through most of the game. With so many type matches that pokemon have and the combinations, I always felt that my opponents were super effective against me

Tell me about it. While I WRECKED the entire game all those trainers in the caves with their stupid fighting Pokemon were a nightmare. I actually suffered my only defeat in this playthrough to one of them...

Use psychic and fairy.

They can't hurt ghost types either.

My team with a bunch of Dark types got wrecked by the Machoke/Mr. Mime double battle after the second badge. At least I can beat my friend's Psychic/Ghost team quite easily :P
 
Is there a white tree challenge equivalent in Y?

Specifically for high level Pokemon opponents that give a lot of EXP like you would get against the Chancey/Blissey trainers in the white tree challenge.

EDIT: Also where is the
champions cave?

I remember running past someone who said i could only enter the cave as champion but i can't remember where that was again.
 
I'm in a cave after the 7th gym badge, and I noticed that my surf attack destroyed part of the background, and I got an item after the battle. Does anyone know where else this happens?

I just got to Reflection Cave and that's where I ran into problems with trainers using Fighting moves on me.
 
Gah, I just hit the 40 hour mark and I'm only on the 6th gym. I am honestly shocked at how much fun I am having doing random stuff like aime/super training, social stuff, and flying around every day to check clothes and stuff. Usually in pokemon I blaze through the story pretty fast and then work on post game stuff. I can't believe they hooked me into taking it slow and just having fun at my own pace.

I think the thing I'm most shocked about is how despite being a single player game story-wise it's a lot of fun to play at the same time as friends. I've got a group of 5ish people playing daily and we are often helping each other out with trades/evolution and properly timed o-powers to get the most xp/money out of a battle or heal someone up at a critical time.

Only thing I'm torn on if I like this more than B/W for the main story is the whole lack of new pokemon thing. I am 100% in the camp that loved that you could only play through B/W with new pokemon, so the fact that I keep running into old guys more than new is a bummer. Like, I wanted to put a ground pokemon on my team, but, after checking it out there is only ONE new ground pokemon that isn't legendary? Sheesh, it's made creating my team really hard since I am adamant about only using new guys.
 
I keep getting "A communication error has occurred. Press the power button, and end the game."

This happens to me on GTS and I can't do anything without a hard reset. Is this a known thing?
 
The new breeding mechanics are great. I've got two Oustanding Adamant Honedges after about 15 eggs. Each with 3 perfect IVs. I'll probably do one more batch of eggs and then settle on one for now. :)
 
I love the new destiny knot mechanic. After some breeding here and there, bread a jolly chespin with 31 IVs in everything except special attack.
 
Would anyone who has gained access to the move deleter be willing to take my Charmeleon temporarily to delete HM01 Cut from its moveset?
 
what is your street pass experience with this game?

When i was SP with fire emblem it used to be at least 7 passes when i went to the mall food court.
with this game nothing..

With fire emblem it was a double whammy, as you got goodds for FE but also things for the Mii plaza.
