PS6 Portable - what would you like to see?

This sounds awful. Especially in the second half of the generation when you want to see PS6 only games that take advantage of the hardware. Being mandated to support a far weaker handheld essentially means cross gen will last the entire generation. They might as well make a PS5 version the entire gen as well.

People complained about the gap between S and X this gen but want an even bigger one next gen?

That ship has sailed. If Sony had put Zen 4c cores on the PS5 Pro, the PS6 wouldn't even be necessary. Because they didn't, they have to release a new console to prevent Magnus being the only console on the market that can play GTA 6 (and really any PS5 30 fps only games) at 60 fps.

What I want to see is a 15-kilo portable brick with powerful graphics hooked up to my TV. And this time, at least two of Sony's first-party games each year.
Thank you.

Not going to get one, but part of that is the large size it will probably be. Vita was probably the upper end of size I find acceptable, but stuff the size of the deck and up is a huge turnoff for me. If I'm going to bring a bag to haul that around, a thin tablet and controller is just as easy. Even with a largeish powerbank, really.

There are cases where you have not got a surface to put that on, of course. But these are cases where you tend to get shorter waits and probably no power outlet. For those cases, I'd want something small and with a good batter. Probably something that doesn't notice a lack of internet, while we're at it. Almost any solution there would not play modern games, though. It would be a retro piece or one of those little arm emulator guys.

Not that I don't see the appeal of large portables but I just can't imagine getting much use at all out of one. It would be super specific times that I would want it.

Yes please! As a PS5 owner with no interest in either PS6 or Canis, being able to continue to play on mine even for the whole next gen would be amazing. Honestly, based on that they are shipping their games to PC, I can't see why they would abandon PS5 and Pro considering how many already own them. Generations and formats seem to matter less and less. Except for Nintendo.
