Anyone with an Adamant Female Scizor?
Looking to breed one for Technician.
I have a load of Adamant Larvitars, and miscellaneous natured Beldum i can trade in return.

It is. In fact, Truant Durant is hella gimmicky.
I've just been taking my time with stuff.
Got my 7th Gym badge the other night and evolved my Doublade to Aegislash.
It's still beasting stuff.
Still trying to decide on what to use for my 6th slot though.
So far I've been using:
-Greninja
-Blaziken
-Venusaur
-Aegislash
-Garchomp
I've been dabbling with a Floette in the 6th slot, but it's really more of a supporter and it can't take Physical attacks for crap.
Could probably evolve it, but I don't know if it'd be much better.
Maybe I can dabble around on the GTS and get me a Joltik.
Get my ol' buddy Galvantula back.

Yeah, I knew it sounded gimmicky. This is coming from me, the guy who made the dedicated Regigigas double team setup his primary battle subway team.
That reminds me though: does any of the pokemon with prankster have ability-swapping moves? I want to see if anything can replace whimsicott.

Aagh, that feeling when you get a Gible through Wonder Trade, only to find out it has a bold nature.
Loving the game, though. It's got some spark in it that reminds me of the pokemon days of old.

From what I gather, Eevee's affection isn't the actual trigger, it's the enjoyment level that matters. My Eevee wouldn't evolve at high affection, but did evolve after full enjoyment.
Enjoyment is filled by playing games, letting the pokemon bat your hand (note - only certain Pokemon will respond, some just stare at your hand...), talking to your Pokemon or being let out the pokeball in the first place. It gets lowered if you feed or pet your Pokemon. (So if your trying to go for high affection, your Pokemon's enjoyment meter will generally be low)
Enjoyment also seems to be affected by other things outside Amie. I know in one case, I had a metapod...metapod can't eat PokePuffs and he does not get a lot of enjoyment out of the games, but a few run arounds later, he was happy again, not sure why but had used it in battle a few times.

Get a Diggersby. Can learn all of those and I also gave it Rock Smash instead of surf. It eventually learns earthquake as well giving it some use.

Only 8 codes registered, and of the 8 3 are water. Of those 3, all 3 have panpour (and the two that are not yours have Quagsire as the second).
I suppose yours having Gyrados makes up for it a bit.

Wow. You can outright cheat with this game with Pokemiles. Wonder trading gives you so much and Rare Candies are so cheap on Pokémon Global Link.
I just hatched two adamant honedge with 31/31/31/?/31/?
Nice man, that's some luck right there. Honedge is my favorite of the new pokemon.

Got the game last night, started playing today. I'm in the forest so far, and wow there are a ton of Pokemon to catch so far. :O
Impressions are positive so far, I am pleased that the battle speed doesn't seem to be overly slow despite the transition into 3D.

You wonder trade over and over for a while. Then you Game Sync (Good luck finding a time when the server's not busy though). You should have plenty of Pokemiles in your Global Link account. Rare candies are 250 of those each. Game Sync again, and rinse and repeat!
That's kind of disappointing. I guess I'll complete my Kalas Pokedex and then put it down until I can transfer my mons from Gen V.
Register on the pokemon gl on the web. Link your game. The web gives you stuff for doing things online like wonder trades. The stuff you get is unlimited afaik, you just need to get enough points to get another one. One of the prices is a rare candy

You have your solution right there; just grind out Wonder Trades, then pop over to pokemon-gl.com. Set up your game sync, and you can buy Rare Candies online for like 250 pokemiles.
Wonder Trading is pretty amazing. Shame Japan and Europe seem to be more generous in their offers. I basically only get the typical Pokemon you can find in the early stages of the game from people in the US. Whereas someone from Japan hooked me up with a Scyther with False Swipe, Vacuum Wave and Night Slash at level 1. Guessing it was a hatched egg.

So after all the praise I bought it today, playing the German version with all different names though. Chose a gal ('cause dunno lol, always doing that in most RPGs), bought a hat and made my way past the first badge. It's kinda fun, but it didn't really catch me yet. I'll play more though, and I do totally see the appeal. I guess for me it will be all that character customizing, can you change the hair style later on?
