Depends how much you like kugirie, although I don't like laura bailey's rise either so it's a loss-loss. Completely worth it to swap out new chie though.

just finished Kanji
I haven't played the original, so I can't compare but the new(?) Chie does a great job. She adds so many little nuances to Chie's pronunciation that she really comes off a believable character. She's still slightly edged out by Kanji and Amagi, but I felt it was a solid performance.
To each their own, I guess. ;D (I can't imagine FemShep as a high school student. Weird.)

Well, if I could beat the twins, I'd comisserate with you. I had them down to a sliver, they somehow didn't die, then hit me like a sack of bricks and I couldn't repair.
That Neptunia screencap, is it from that Idolmaster parody game or is it some standalone thing? (looks like a clock app or something)

That 共闘学園 thing is really the quirky Japanese kind of advertising that wouldn't be very receptive to western users.
The live nico broadcast is pretty standard for advertising but idk if westerners have that same kind of internet culture. Would people go watch a stream on twitch tv at an appointed time for a couple of gameplay videos?
It's interesting that there hasn't been anything like a vita heaven for the west though. Maybe SCEA just doesn't think it's worth the effort for the number of viewers they'd get.

Thought that might be why.
I can say the Killzone Mercenary patch fixed the issue with not being able to connect and having to close the game and restart for it to work. I suspended the game and went back in and it worked and i also suspended then put it in standby and it still worked. Glad to see them fix that, does anyone know if that was why everyone was having trouble or did some people it not matter and they couldnt get on regardless?

It has so much potential.
But they need to fire their QA team. Should've never made it out the door without 30fps lock. And if it had been 60fps locked? Could've been LEGENDARY... such wasted potential.
I have a feeling SCEA still has a stigma about westerners only caring about western games and that streaming most of the japanese stuff wouldn't garner an audience (and they'd be right). The last jp vita heaven had toukiden, vk3, ge2, sen no kiseki, gundam breaker, and a dangan ronpa teaser. Even if those all got localizations none of those type of games would appeal to mainstream western viewers they way they do to mainstream japanese viewers.
If this is their philosophy then it makes sense that there's very little to show.
Since they already show off the few big (western) titles they have during big events like E3 and gamescom and then leave the incremental update trailers to the development studios/publishers, it makes sense they don't want to make the effort to get House or someone to host extra "direct" style broadcasts.

That wasn't a Vita heaven, it was just mistranslated but most people thought it was. Honestly they could probably do a indie based one.

The main point is that they showed gameplay/trailers for new, unreleased games at the time. Most of the indies on vita are ports and even then they already showed most of the upcoming ones at gamescom.
There's just simply nothing left to stream.

It's not like the Vita game is a port of the PS3 version. They'd get in trouble for false advertising if it said "get Arkham Origins for PSVita".
Yeah, but they still could have said "And try out Arkham Origins Blackgate, coming to the Vita" with a few seconds of footage. Not that I would have expected that.
The reviews in a nutshell:
Vita version: 65 Metacritic, "scaled back 2D game, why would you play this instead of the console version?"
3DS version: 85 Metacritic, "fantastic callback to 2D Metroid games, must-play."

I bought Ys: Seven a few hours ago and I am so glad that I did. This game is right up my alley. Loving everything about it so far. Does Ys:OoF play the same? Pretty similar? This has gotten me even more excited for the upcoming Vita Ys.
It's sad that despite having all the previous bosses have some pretty nifty battles, the last boss for Sly 4 is a QTE fest. Uncharted all over again.
Might switch back to ps3 to do the clean-up.
In terms of action it's almost the same. But the structure is more about dungeons and less about equipment/items and story.

Injustice Ultimate Edition has been available for pre-order on Amazon for 360 and PS3 for a few days, though not under a unified listing with selectable platforms... not Vita, though. Nov 12th isn't too far away, seems like it would be cutting it really close to see a listing for a physical release pop up.

It's a card game from what i hear.
My goodness, I just realized I haven't bought a Vita game over a month and a half! That's by far the longest period of not buying Vita games. Kind of makes me sad but there just hasn't been anything interesting to me since KZ Mercenary, Rayman Legends, and Kickbeat, all of which came out on the same day, and all of which I've bought.

Never have been a fan of Monster Hunter series or other "hunting" genre games, but somehow GEB has won my heart. I don't know why.

I definitely think the price for this game on Vita is high, but I also see various scenarios in which it is completely understandable to buy it.
For example. My parents love the game but we don't have a tablet. And I know they would enjoy Angry Birds a lot more in the Vita's bigger screen than on their phones. For me, that's makes it more than worth it.
Of course, these are more special cases than the norm, and I agree that for the average vita owner the game is neither interesting nor reasonably priced.
Don't feel bad. I can't even remember the last time I bought a Vita game, let alone what game it was.
Maybe DOA5+? Lol.
So weird that SCEA never promotes games like this.
Killzone mercenary was promoted like this in Asia (with the full width banner on the bottom).
Seems liked it worked as it was the best selling Vita game in September.

A Yu-Gi-Oh game T.T. It's been years since I played one of those games, but lately I want it soo bad. It's a shame that the PSP games aren't in PSN.
Is out there a iOS / Android Yu-Gi-Oh F2P TCG, at least? I think it could be pretty popular worldwide. And it would work flawlessly in tablets. Still, is so obvious that probably Konami haven't even tried xD.
