Just got my second Friend Safari shiny in as many days - Vullaby!
Definitely safe to say the chance of shinies is vastly increased. This was after only half an hour's worth of battles on my lunch break!
Saw the sparkles and the slightly pinker than usual head and thought "aw yiss...".

The shiny rate is significantly higher in the Friend Safari (seems to be about one in a couple of hundred rather than 1/8192). I think the rest of the game is normal.
Anyway, I walked out of the Frozen Cave last night, and had to take this photo:

Traded the in-game traded Farfetch'd for a lvl 1 Modest Fennekin all stats 6 except attack at 5. Wonder trade is good to me so far.
Doing the same thing right now.
Out of 7 trades so far, of note I've gotten a Japanese Froakie and Japanese Ghastly.

Bred a Froakie with perfect HP, Attack, Sp Attack and Speed and I'm pretty ok with it. I would have preferred the two defenses over HP and Attack but they're spread across the parents and everything else is clearly higher priority.
Is there a way to check how good the IVs the guy doesn't mention are?
I've got a few 2-3 stat Timid Froakie if anyone is interested

I just checked out the stats for Mega Mawile and its crazy with its insane ability. I am going very likely to use Mega Mawile for tournaments. All of the others have negatives with their benefits.
I've gotten some surprisingly cool stuff from Wonder Trade. Various starters, Eevee, Dusclops, Riolu. I've done my best to pass it along, but at the same time I also throw a fair amount of crap up there. For every Eevee I've given away, I've sent out 3 water monkeys.

Yeah, it's usually really bad for me. I've managed two starter Pokemon through Wondertrade so far though.

Mine's are the definition of boring. Bug type featuring Volbeat and Ledyba (I dunno the third one, if you could check it up it could be great).

Why do you need a second one?
You can only have one per team. Just switch between if you have multiple move sets and builds.
Vivillion. First one that popped up was Modern Pattern, but I don't know what my native one usually is.
