I just went through some of them, i cant believe people dribble these things out of their mouths onto their keyboard.. Youtube comments 2.0.
A good portion is probably paid to do so...

lmao. how reddit feels about "AstroGAF" always makes me laugh
lol some crazy rationalization over there.
Infinity Ward needs some crunch time dinner.
Remarkable that everyone is jumping on the 720p thing, but the OS rumour, which is the far more worrying one, is getting mostly ignored. "Crashes or hangs once per session"? Let's hope that's not true.
Good lord reddit is salty.
Exactly, is this an MS issue or an IW one?

Evidently, both.
its not a shit engine. its just not flashy. its been highly optimised to get good famerates and the engine has always scaled up well on pc's

Guys really. Wait for proof. You will feel so much better later.
No problem, so the OS is still in an unreliable state and matchmaking is flaky as well?
They have about a few weeks to fix things I suppose.
I am saying 720p would be a mere annoyance compared to frequent crashes and broken Live matchmaking.
Platforms aren't even equal in relative terms from day one, some are just more difficult and we can't make accurate comparisons for years - specs aren't reliable enough. We had this exact fucking issue last gen with PS3 being a bitch to code for, and that even managed to turn out more capable than 360 after a couple of years. Same shit, next gen.
1080p CoD is important for shootin' dudes from far away or something I dunno.
I'll wait for real confirmation before I get too excited.
I'm somehow not surprised by how positively gleeful some posters are about the possibility of this being true...
Wow if true. Luckily for MS COD games benefit more from a stable frame-rate. Also does the PS4 version have dedicated servers? If not then they might just balance out in the end.
Yes. The PS4 version is still 15 spots higher than the Xbox one version.
Thanks for pointing that out.
Seriously though, has there ever been as bad a product launch in the history of electronics? All we need now is the already-rumoured hardware overheating issues and we could be staring down the barrel of Redmond's latest and greatest flop.
Not really. They're just being a little level headed. Some of them, at least.

Proelite said in the other thread he is more concerned about the unstable and buggy OS/match making a month out from launch than he is 720p COD.
There's not many sources for it, I think only Proelite. Once that one comes closer to being verified I think it will become HUGE (if true).
That is the thing. If developers are having issues with it, then what does that say for other, far more demanding multiplats?

That's one thing it could say. It could also say that MS sucked when it came time to supporting devs with XDK updates/tools etc.
But of course Xbox One can run. Please, it's an 1999 recycled engine.
I guess it was a Xbox 720 all along!
Why would you get excited about XOne version running in 720p? It's sad really.
If it's true then I guess they ran into something since June -- was stated back then that both the PS4 and Xbox One versions were 1080p in 60 FPS.

According to gaming cesspool NeoGAF
How in THE HELL is Ryse pushing 900p with those goddamn visuals then?
Seems to me like we should wait for a full picture.
If true then...idk what to think. It has to be an Activision issue. Forza is 1080p and GHOST doesn't look anywhere as good.
