I understood this fully, that shit is not fair at all. I had giving MS benefit of the doubt and still will if this rumor is false, but I will be so quick to jump ship it aint even funny. Its not the fact that COD is not 1080p its the fact that the xbox just cant easily do it. I mean 360 been doing 720p for awhile, why do I upgrade MS? Are you nuts?

I had 100 on my live account and I just went through and bought digital copies of games I want to support/ might play some day on 360 like witcher 2 and tales of vesperia

I am still salty my sony headset will not work on ps4, I have the one before they came out with the elite ones.

Fucked up how? They LITERALLY got away with charging for online-play without a huge ruckus.

First - I don't know the resolution. I don't have more sophisticated tools than anyone else. I watch the game on a nice TV with the XBO set to 1080p for every game, there is no way for me to know what's native vs. upscaled unless I'm told.

Second, if I did know, it wouldn't be my place to say anything.

If the Ryse footage last week showed me anything, it's that you get a much more interesting discussion when you're looking at real footage.

So now I've seen the PS4 footage, and I've seen XBO running live. To me, they both look great.

The resolution will be what it will be. It will be known when Activision wants it to be known. The only thing I was curious about was if the games look different, and based on the assets available to me, they don't.

So I think when XBO footage comes out, and people can compare resolutions, effects, framerate and other things the debate will be more interesting.

All that doesn't come across in Twitter-sized bites.

You know...Microsoft should just scrap this entire console & start all over. I just can't hold back from laughing any longer. LOL!

Yep, instead they panic'd and rushed it all instead of maybe pushing their console until Spring to get it all right. PS3 came out after the 360 and managed to do fine. I dont know why MS didnt think they could pull that off.
 
What an amazing thread. It's a good thing I'm concentrating on getting Titanfall (or how CBOAT puts it, Titfall) in the distant future instead of when it releases for the Xbox One.

You are forgetting the wii was 250$ compared to 400-600$. When you have two consoles that taught HD and one is clearly more powerful and is cheaper then there is a problem. You are also forgetting most people did not have HD tv's when the Wii came out. There are so many factors you are leaving out.

I think he is right also. It is far worse to keep hiding this important info from customers, and you know what, GAF will find out sooner or later, BANG!!!
