XBOne Version of NBA 2K14 Missing From Blowout Press Event, Confirmed Native 1080p/60

I wouldn't put much stock in anything they've shown of that game tbh. Eurogamer did a video and half was PC footage (confirmed by them) with playstation on screen buttons. And half was actual PS4 with playstation on screen buttons. I think most of anything we've seen of AC4 has been PC masquerading as console footage.

I know that's a bit tinfoil hat, but i just don't trust anything these devs are showing us.

I hope you're wrong, the games hardly a looker in the first place.

Sounds like the roles are reversing where every multiplat shown this gen was the 360 version, now its looking like the PS4 will be the one.

I wonder what sacrifices they made to get it to run in 1080p on Xbox1.

If this was a few months ago, I wouldn't be concerned. But being this close to launch and with all of the other concerns to take into account and we don't even know how the game looks on Xbone. For those who are looking to buy the Xbone at launch, I would be somewhat concerned.

But 2K14 does look amazing though.
on the PS4

Considering the position MS is in they should have tried everything to be able to show the Xbone version. Instead, silence. MS are gonna lose so much money. Wow

Maybe they just can't deliver all the graphical details on Xbox and they wanted to avoid it to be shown on their press event.

Or maybe they are still in the optimization process and it's not yet ready for the public (after showing the awesome OMG trailer and releasing those shots with PS4 logos on them).

Generally I think details are more important than resolution in sports games.

If the game isn't really pushing either console then you probably won't see much if any difference (and it probably isn't pushing either console if its running at 60fps and 1080p).
There will probably be loads of multiplatform games like this next gen.
Weren't people just blown away by the trailer of this game? Its a beautiful looking game.

so how often are we going to beat a dead horse on a topic where nothing will ever change? Yes, the Xbox one is weaker than the PlayStation 4.

expect more events in the future where multi platform games for the former, are not shown.it's not a surprise now, and it shouldn't be a surprise then.

Are you saying that Xbox One versions of games will magically look more better than PS4 versions, because that's certainly not gonna happen. Not with the kind of hardware that Xbox One has in comparison to the PS4 platform.

Xbox One is very, very weaker than PS4. Deal with it.

If both version are native 1080p/60fps and one of them isn't on the floor. I assume it is because the PS4 version looks (slightly) better, that is if the marketing deal has nothing to do with it. You always want to show off the best version of your game, regardless of consumer or press.

it's weaker. idk about very, very weaker.

I don't think anyone is saying XB1 versions are going to look better.

It looks amazing but its still a basketball game, its not like its a huge open world city or a battlefield with 500 soldiers in the middle of battle. The current gen game looks amazing itself, i actually thought it WAS the next gen version when i saw a gameplay vid on Youtube the other day.

Maybe the Xbone version has only One player on screen at once.
HDMI-in a PS4 to the Xbox to see the rest of the players.

Man, this feverish rush to condemn a system before its out gets tiring. I don't know how some of you do it.

Seems like the devs didn't have to remove TOO much if they were able to keep the frame rate and res the same. That means there likely will be some effects that differ. Nothing too significant.

Maybe the game isn't that demanding and both systems can run it perfectly well. The PS4 version probably just looks better at the moment so they decided to show that one to the press.

How the fuck do you confuse this for this:

IF they don't look the same then yes. Especially at the same even where comparisons can easily be made
