I feel like Magic Guard is too good of an ability to dismiss. I mean the Mega is super fast, but priority is just going to brutalize him since he can't hold a focus sash anymore. Trace could be useful in certain situations though.

Yeah I'm thinking I agree, if I do end up sticking him on my team it'll probably be with a Focus Sash... Still trying to find the perfect mega for my lineup that isn't cheap and overused :/

It's not easy. Looking over the megas on serebii, and they either look too good, not good enough, or they're just pokemon that I don't even like in the first place. I think I've found mine in Mawile, but we'll see.

If it learns it that early, it's possible that there could be more moves waiting up.

IGN shows that's the last move it learns.

Finally got my 31/31/31/31/31/x Brave Marvel Scale Dratini earlier! Wasn't that difficult for my very first time breeding, thanks to lots of help from people here. I have a few 2-4 perfect IV Brave Marvel Scale Dratini's chilling in my boxes... I might do a giveaway sometime soon, depending on if people express interest. All my Dratini have weird names according to which generation of child they were.. Helped me keep track of who was who lol. So if that wouldn't bother anyone, then I'd prolly do it.

On another note, I'm considering going the whole 9 yards and looking into breeding moves across pokemon egg groups... Is there a chart somewhere or a guide to doing it properly? And knowing which pokemon can use which moves? That seems like another hurdle to leap lol..

Yes, it's listed with Max IVs and EVs.

I finally got fly.

Planted a row of berries. Now it's time to go back to old routes and catch pokemon. Need to find something that learns False Swipe. Thinking I may just teach it to Doublade and then teach it Shadow Claw or something else when I'm done catching old pokemon. Going back and getting pokemon/items I missed reminds me of getting keys in Dragon Quest games and getting all sorts of loot by going to different towns.

Spanish Farfetch'd with Cut and Fly is a total bro though.

I don't remember a single high profile trainer with more than 4 Pokemon (and even then I only remember a handful with 4, most are 3). Off my memory, in previous games by the time I'm done with the evil team I've seen plenty of 5-Pokemon fights.

Kinda makes the battles fly by.

yup, champ has 6, Elite Four+Lysandre have 4, everyone else except your rival has 3 or fewer

Nice, you should probably evolve it into Slowbro. Slowking's alright for a shiny, but Slowbro completely changes colors compared to Slowking's red parts turning blue.
