KAKUNA AND VENOMOTH

Hey, Venomoth is awesome! One of my favorite bug Pokemon.

I've decided that one of my postgame projects is going to be getting a shiny Gengar.

I want that shiny Mega Gengar if only for the awesome looks. I'll breed a good one stats wise eventually.

I'm feeling nice and I just got a second one so...

I have ONE male Marill with Huge Power, Aqua Jet, Belly Drum and Superpower in its move set, adamant nature. But more important 5 perfect IVs in HP, Def, Spe, Att, SpD.

Catch is I want something neat in return. Hint: I really wanna IV breed Volcarona.

Edit: Actually I now have another one, sadly without Huge Power. This one I'll give for free to the first person who wants it.

Route 13 is the worst route in the game :(

Can't tell you how many times I get stuck in an encounter, run away, and then get into another without moving so much as an inch.

How on earth do Honedge breed?

This is what I'm thinking right now. Trying to breed a Honedge with 5 IVs and Brave Nature. Will most likely end up with lots of these to trade off soon lol. Still have heaps of Marill left, including two with 5 perfect IVs.

So my Ditto/Zubat has made like four eggs in ten minutes.

Is it a good idea to fill your party with 5 eggs, then keep skating back and forth till they hatch?

So I was able to get a charmander with 5 perfect IVs. I tossed him in daycare with a female with 3 perfect IVs one is the same though. Problem is Ditto takes forever to make eggs. Might just settle with the one. The odds of getting a female charmander with perfect IVs is too much lol.

I'd love to take one off your hands if it's still available!

Mega Blaziken looks so awesome.

Also my in game Blaziken has 187 attack at level 45.

This thing is going to trash the elite 4 soon enough.

Hmm... guess I'm underleveled, huh. Level ~55 at the league. If this is anything like the past games, this should carry me to the champion but I won't be able to beat him. Not sure if I want to find out the hard way.

Can anyone just tell me the level range of the champion? If it goes higher than 70 I'll grind a bit.

Guys,

After 15 years or so of playing Pokemon, I just now deciding to step up a bit and raise my Pokemon competitively, at least for a bit. I'm not aiming for championships or perfect winnings or the like, I still wanted to use my favorite Pokemon even though it might not be viable competitively so that shouldn't be too hard.

So I begin reading about IVs, EVs, Natures, Abilities, breedings and builds etc and consider myself still knowing jack shit. I'm now trying to breed a Pawniard with Adamant Nature. I purposely ignored IVs for now since it's my first build after all. My next target is to get it to learn Sucker Punch, but I understand that I need to breed it with something else (Cacturne or Croagunk, which I have).

My question is: how do I start? Do I breed it to get Sucker Punch first, then find the right Nature? And after I got the "ideal" one, where is the best place to train?
