Gamefreak hates Ice, Poison and Bug. It is known.
But Ice is the most hated![]()
It's weird seeing as Poison had the most Pokemon than any other type in Gen I and then it just fell from there.

Being curious, I decided to look at the amount of each type added in this generation (not including megas, alt forms and event pokes)
I honestly thought that there were more new Fairy types than retconned at first. I don't really mind the lower amount of Pokemon but the distribution of the types could have been better. I mean the only 2 Poison types were the Skrelp line for example. Well I guess that a few types had to suffer. I also find it funny that if the types of the event legendaries are true, I think there will be more Fairy Pokemon than Ice and Ghost Pokemon overall.
.
Changes I would have made to the type chart
- Poison is immune to poison (and fairy is NVE on it)
- Poison is NVE on steel, no immunity
- Bug is SE on poison
- flying is SE on fire, but immediately raises ATK or SP.ATK of the enemy (depending on physical or special attack) <- no real balance reason, it's just a cool idea
There is the Stone Emporium or whatever its called in Lumous City and you can find one around the area you are at the moment, not sure where though.

I was being extremely conservative. I would actually make poison SE against all other types and only immune to itself.Ew no on steel losing it immunity to poison, flying being super effective on fire.
The only thing that I would change is buff the Ice type by making them immune to water and super effective to fairy.
Japanese trainers are the best.
Just got a Golem, Bulbasaur and Fennekin from Wonder trade.
Confession: I love how egg moves can now be learned from the move relearned. Easily one of my favorite new features.
Didn't they say that you can request Pokemon you haven't seen in GTS?
I swear I remember them mentioning this, but it's not possible right?
exp share is the best. I don't have to do anything anymore. ヽ(*・ω・ノ
It feels so good ripping off teams made of Yveltal + Zygarde+ Mega Mewtwo (that are all over wi-fi nowadays) with my in game party![]()
I've always found that using Legendaries is cheap, but Megas are an actual interesting challenge.
Scroll down to the bottom and it should say something like "What Pokemon?".
I can't believe after six gens, we still have no dolphin Pokemon. You'd think that would be pretty high up on their list but nope.

1.Kneeling down when talking to kids/Pokemon
Very possible - the option to enter a Pokemon's name directly is at the bottom of the alphabetical name list ("What Pokemon?").Didn't they say that you can request Pokemon you haven't seen in GTS?

Well Kyogre is technically a dolphin.....I can't believe after six gens, we still have no dolphin Pokemon. You'd think that would be pretty high up on their list but nope.

Kyogre is based on a killer whale, right? What? No, Kyogre is based on Levithan, and it judging by its size it has more in common with Whales than Dolphins.
Kyogre is based on a killer whale, right?
Killer whales are in the dolphin family.
Eh, we finally got a Lion and it's forgettable as fuckI prefer weird stuff.
Cant's really say but possible, all I know is its based on Leviathan.Kyogre is based on a killer whale, right?

It would just be cool if there were true dolphin like Pokemon.
Any disadvantages with using rare candies?
Any disadvantages with using rare candies?
You don't get any EVs from them, but if you've already maxed your Pokemon's EVs then there are no downsides to Rare Candies at all. Other than the fact that they're pretty rare and worth hanging on to, but then you can always get more with Pokemiles if you do a lot of trading.
Your Pokémon will be slightly weaker than a Pokémon that leveled up with experience, as you gain EVs through experience.
However, as there's a cap to EVs (the Super Training gauge fills up to 510), there is no long-term disadvantage. You can use Super Training to make up the difference; once the gauge is full, there's no difference in stats between a battle-trained and Rare Candied Pokémon.
How do I get the reset bag in Super Training? Just punch the blank bag until I get one?
Agreed, which is why I am hoping that the rumour that Z will take place in another region with the rest of gen 6 Pokémon will be true, otherwise gen 6 will have the lowest amount and the worse type distribution out all of the other generation.
Well I only have one extra perfect Larvesta and wanted to help the guy out due to the unfortunate incident
I just looked this theory up now by seeing the video made by Marriland. I had heard about the strange souvenir and the backpacker but with the backstory, the berry issue and the lack of new Pokemon, it makes sense.
Give on Pokemon a Destiny Knot to hold. It makes five IVs from the parents guaranteed on the child. Play the RNG game until victory. No problem, just gonna try to make one myself, gotta learn how to breed somehow!
One question for y'all. I have a Larvesta that has 31 iv's in def and sp.atk but 0 speed. I have a ditto that has 31 iv speed. How do I keep the 2 31's and add the 31 for speed? What items do I need specifically? I think I have everything and I just tried to breed this Larvesta with the ditto real quick and they don't like each other... Wdf.

I doubt they'll add any new Pokemon in Z, maybe a new form or two for Zygarde.
That's exactly what I meant. If your Pokemon forgets an egg move they can learn it again.????
Serebii: "In addition to that, she will now help your Pokémon remember any Egg Moves they once had."
You can't learn Egg Moves, you can only relearn it.
