I can't comprehend being excited about the Xbone any more. Some of the games look okay but it seems like you're taking such a massive risk buying this thing at launch given all these rumours, I don't think I'd be comfortable with it.

We will see. We're a month out and there's going to be a firmware release day one. We'll see then if MS managed to sort out the issues and delivered on launch day.

Or hoping they can fix it all in time. Maybe they will, who knows. The people experiencing these OS issues might not even have the latest version, so perhaps it isn't as bad as it seems. But it probably is.

Seriously. Our sources are posters on GAF. It's not even out yet. Both systems will be out in the next month. I guess we'll see if these insiders like Mort and CBOAT are right.

Proelite is the first one to report the snap/XBL issues last week. He just didn't do it in an omigod the world is falling sorta way. He also said it in the 720p thread that got closed, so it got drowned out.

I don't understand it - they literally could've taken XBL directly from the 360 and put it on the One and people would've been fine with it. Instead they re-engineered it so that it works like the PS3 did (API used in each game instead of system wide)?

We've gotten info lately from various sources that Xbox Live (parties, friends, achievements, connectivity), Skype, Snap-In and Smartglass are all borked/unstable/crashing. And that's besides any ResolutionGate stuff.
We're beyond the looking glass. Have been for some time now.

The best thing about that GIF is that it was retweeted by the guy in the car who is also a gamer.
At this point we only have the words of a few people, so we personally cannot verify it unless MS comes out and says it (lol like that would happen). Based on who is giving out this information and their track records, I'm leaning towards believing this is much closer to reality than not. And given the current track record, lack of any real rebutal from MS, and hearing from some of the same sources that the PS4 is having some OS issues as well, it seems like Microsoft has done fucked up big time.
Still, it should be considered a rumor and won't be concrete for us plebs till it launches. I wouldn't consider it bull either till Microsoft says it is, which is odd they continue to remain quiet on the subject.
Maybe J Allard should just come back and clear everything up.
