with Verizon right now I my final charge is $58 (work discount) for unlimited and 300 minutes (no text, I use Google Voice). Definitely considering switching when my Verizon contract is up in a few months.

I don't know if I would switch to T-mobile if I had unlimited data at Verizon for $58/month. T-mobile is good and all, but the coverage is very spotty. I currently use the $30 plan, but would switch to Verizon if I could. As much as I hate Verizon, their network really is the best. My wife is on a Verizon plan with her family, and all the slots are full. She is able to get coverage whenever I can't. I just can't justify the price difference. If you do end up switching, look into selling your unlimited data plan on Ebay, you should be able to get a decent amount for it.

It must vary based on where you live or something. Mine is something like $32.60 a month (auto-renew).

Use CallingMart.com. Buy it right there on the site, and it gives you a code to enter in your account section of Tmobile.com

No tax and no fees at all no matter where you are.

There's no fees. You just buy a $30 card. The store might charge you sales tax.

Google's camera algorithms have always been shit compared to the competition. Would like to see this change with the N5 but I'm not holding my breath.

If you have friends or family who use Tmo, you could all start a family plan. I pay $30 for unlimited talk/text and truly unlimited 4G data as an add on line (only the 3rd/4th/5th add on lines are this cheap though)
