Naughty Dog touring SpaceX!

...Nah, can't see it. That sounds like a mighty step back from TLoU.

I don't see how you can outright dismiss the idea as a step back unless you're simply not a fan. ND tackling a legit pulp space adventure, or realistic space sci-fi, or sci-fi space-noir, or whatever could be incredible with the character work they've shown to be capable of.

Gravity was already basically a video game. I'd gladly welcome Naughty Dog's take on something like that.

Btw this could be tlou team's next game. The team leader said they are working/thinking about a new ip at an event in Toronto.

Or Uncharted is being made by Bend + Naughty Dog, while the most of the team focusing on the space ip.

They wouldnt tell us about a spacex trip for no reason. This has to be related to one of their projects.

Edit - or maybe they are researching under water pressures for Uncharted Atlantis :p

I can see ND making a situation where you are blown outside the ship or you lose hull or whatever ... and the sound just disappears entirely - and making it not look/feel like shit.

This has fucking crazy potential. Especially if they go all out on the zeroG madness... oh please please please please pleeeeeaaaaassseeee...

someone gif that souther bell from Princess and the Frog... this is me wishing on my Naughty star right now...

People thought a zombie apocolypse inspired game from Naughty Dog was a dumb sounding idea at first too. Look how that turned out lol.

With Naughty Dog's art team ... man a space epic would be insanity.

I guess it depends on what kind of space theme/setting the game would tackle. I'd probably be into whatever they would do at this point, but I'd probably be skeptical if it was something like Star Wars or Mass Effect.

Someone mentioned Cowboy Bebop previously, which I would find amazing, though.

I'm not sure I want a SciFi shooter from ND.... That would mean my two favorite devs are doing a similar style game (Bungie/ND).

I'm sure it would be phenomal though whatever it would be.

arne, Is Uncharted Ip done or is it still continuing somehow?
Do you really think Arne is going to answer that question? Safe bet is that the Uncharted series is not done and will be back on PS4. Whether it's next year or in 4 years and if it's made by Naughty Dog or another studio (Bend), remains to be seen.

Space for most part is uncharted. Now rework the myth of Atlantis to mimic Stargate and voila, you will have The last of Uncharted

What is wrong with you. An epic old school space opera would be amazing from ND.

I have nothing against space operas, but nothin' on that poster looks particularly epic or old school is all I'm sayin-- just hilariously bad design.

But if I had to choose, I'd pick something along the vein of Firefly and Cowboy Bebop rather than Andromeda or Babylon 5.

Isn't SSM rumoured to be making a sci-fi game as well? I think Quantic Dream too.
PS4 is all about sci-fi lol

The poster is only one part of it, and just looks like a take on today's marketing style. The actual descriptions when you find the comic are pure adventurous old school sci-fi, though, which is why I'd love to see the series actually become a game.

Firefly and Bebop are cool too, whatevs. Just get to space, Naughty Dog. You know it's what's right.
