This is a bummer. Was hoping they'd stick with one XBLA game and one Games on Demand game each month. At least I don't own these two games already, though.

I don't understand the issue. Does something being on disc really matter more than the quality of the game being given? Do people want just franchise factory output that makes their offerings seem more valuable due to cost or price? These are both nice titles and better than many retail ones. People who demand retail above digital (despite the fact that these are all digital) seems like being a size queen for gamers or something.

The point is when you're offering up a rewards program for your paying members, it's a better good faith gesture to offer games that aren't 1: Years old, and 2: haven't already been discounted to high heaven, especially now that the 360 is at the end of it's life and those newer games pretty much have the same worth, in microsoft's eyes, as the older ones.

Everything is old and discounted aside from things that are releasing inside of the last six months.

Man…it is November. It is “launch” month. This is when you should be sticking your best foot forward to show that Live Gold as a service is worth the price. This is when you drop some bombs. Get people buying into your ecosystem and the console purchases will follow. Halo 3 was the set-up to load the bases….now you need to knock it out of the park. …and we get this?

I feel like MS makes this mistake a lot. I bet their thinking is that they are probably going to have an influx of new Gold members anyway when XB1 is released…so why try harder?

They look ahead to the subscribers on their way in rather than focusing on the subscribers that might be on their way out in the coming months. Plenty of time for also-ran arcade titles in the latter half of December through early March when nobody is paying attention to this stuff. Then you get a big hitter ready for when Titanfall drops. You have to capitalize on these moments. Create some synergy. Instead we are left with a whole lot of meh.

Ok, I understand november is a busy month and you don't need to be generous because people's purchase intention will be elsewhere but at least .... I don't know, I don't want to get angry.

At least are Region/IP free

Well, the good news is that I know nothing about those games. I suppose the bad news is that there's a reason why I've never heard of them. :P
