He's a bit bigger than early artwork/sprite Classic, but I wouldn't call that "tall", unlike X's later artwork and sprites.
Well, some people attempted to convince themselves back in Brawl that Wario wasn't the only one getting an alternate costume, in spite of the clear statement about it in the Dojo. Here, everything is vague, leaving space for wild speculation which is obviously their intention, otherwise we'd have gotten something like the Wario statement again. I mean, hyping for negative news makes no sense.

It's different in the others as well. His eyes are darker in this, but it has a new thing where the top part of his eye is darker than the bottom.

Yea, I knew something felt off about SSB4 Sonic. It probably is the eyes.

I noticed that too. Maybe it's a design compromise to keep his eyes that much closer to the original full black eyes that people have been clamoring for.
It'd be funny if there were alts for black eyes or green eyes.

Sonic looks far more off in Brawl than he does here, honestly.

Center mouth is the only thing I see that's 'off'. (which was in Sonic Adventure fyi) His eyes and shape are very similar to the games he was in at the time. (Except Sonic 2006 since he has like Sephiroth hair in that)

I don't know how many billion times I've said this, but alternate costumes should, and most likely will be, what they're called: alternate costumes. A lot of people are suggesting stuff like Daisy should be a Peach costume and Raichu should be a Pikachu, but that means that you're playing as a different character. I don't think we"ll get alts if the announcer guy has to say "the winner is Dixie Kong" if you're playing as Diddy Kong.
Obviously the female and male trainers are different persons, but since they're actually called just Wii Fit Trainer it doesn't matter.
And I really doubt Pokémon Trainer will get an alt, since you're not actually playing as him.

If this alts stuff actually becomes true, would anyone mind having to unlock certain alts like the male WFT in a manner similar to the true unlockable characters? For characters like Wario it wouldn't happen since itis virtually the same character but for alts that have significant changes would it make sense?
