I'm going to believe that as well. It'll probably be up-scaled to 1080p, I'd imagine, like Pikmin was. We'll see.

Are these native 1080p? They don't LOOK native.
I might be wrong, but i'll wait on official word, like waiting to see if 3DS if 60fps before assuming etc.
There's no way those are 1080p native. Those look like what you'd get if you had a higher resolution and downsampled it to a lower res. Like what happens whenever you post a screenshot to Miiverse. But I'm not sure.

The whole shape of his head is shaped better, smile is better, color is better,Even his hands look a lot better.
middle mouth sonic always look so dang odd, i think that was the one thing i would change about brawl's sonic. I'm glad that was fixed for Smash 4
but on the other hand, sonic from Smash 4 still has a really bad grin at times

also not a fan of how his cheeks kind of take up a bit of space on the eyes whenever he grins like that, looks kind of odd
sonic looks great when he doesnt grin though, (although his smile sort of looked a tad low res lol)

Honestly by that time the word "geil" was only used by old geezers or Nerds to describe this. It's almost as ancient as cool.

I'd really like for Pac-Man to make it in because of the symbolic gravitas of having a mario/sonic/mega man/Pac-man 4-way battle. Outside of that I'm not terribly concerned about the character.
