Baby Steps anime officially confirmed:

There was a discussion about this several OTs ago, but I guess now is a good time for refreshers on manga-reading tech on tablets.

Any of you people who actually own tablets want to have a go?

I personally use a Nook HD+ with the app, Perfect Viewer to read my manga on a tablet. I picked my new 32GB up for $130 a month or so ago. Reason I chose it was because it's cheap and there's deals rather often, 16GB/32GB with expandable storage, and 1920x1280 resolution. I also already had a high end ultrabook so I didn't need a powerful tablet.

Slap on CM10.1 and you'll have a full android tablet!

What's the point of reading a sports manga that tries to be realistic? I'll just go watch the real thing on TV
Baby Steps is probably fantastic and I will get around to reading it/check out the anime based upon your guys recommendations

Real talk, Baby Steps seems like something that would be easy to get wrong. When I think about Magi and ES21, I'm reminded that the world doesn't work as it should and an overwhelmed by a sense of dread.
An Eyeshield 21 anime?
Wise-kun, what are you talking about?
It never got an anime.
Really.

What is this Baby Steps thing and why everyone is so excited?

Edit: Totally forgot how huge that was.

Yeah. It's a legitimate worry here :( I imagine they'll probably just do a short run too.

It's the best. I know you'll love it too Lele, get on the manga when you can. I'd give some kind of hint or explanation but I suck at those and it's better if you don't assume anything anyways.

(saying a sports manga's quality has anything to do with the degree of realism is like saying a fantasy manga's has to do with its tolkienism, it's just a subgenre, also my hands are a bit oily and it's super annoying man what the hell i washed them like 5 times)

To be fair, a good bit of Baby Steps charm is the "realism" to it. It's very down-to-earth.

It's been MONTHS since I last posted GIFs and got a little trigger happy.

Don't worry, it happens to everyone.

Mostly the Main Character in Baby Steps isn't fucking annoying and neither is best girl

Didn't even see you in the Pokemon thread.

It's like a Sunday manga in Magazine which makes me feel all fuzzy inside. That could still be accomplished without any realism though, and on the flip side I've seen realistic stuff that were the furthest away from that, so I was just saying something for a bit there that's all.

Well after watching the first season of Ookiku Furikabutte, I could totally go for some down to earth sports series now.

Will probably read it the season before it airs now.

don't worry i'm sure it'll be nothing like them.

and be the next Attack on Titan anime

Fairy Tail

Go Natsu! Beat the crap out of that demon!

Beelzebub
Ehh still waiting on Aoi to appear in America lol.

Kenichi
More naked Shigure, alright in my book. Cannot wait for the next chapter.

Good week for chapters.

Something bad happens inside me every time I see an LN adaption that ends early (or gets stuck in hiatus hell). Numeric titles everywhere, zodiac metaphors used like they're Lucarios, and just all around constant worldbuilding with only showing a drop of it. Then it stops :(
It um, it stops :(

Mango is getting an update sometime in the next year or so ==;;

once it does, I'm gonna drop a few bucks for the pro version to the dude. I used it so much last year and the dude's only making it in his spare time...

One Outs [END] - Well ... that's weird? I guess? I feel like I missed a chapter. Anyway, kind of makes sense on the final "trap" there.
