Danganronpa releases on February 12th in NA and February 14th in Europe
(US) Kmart has the Vita charging cradle on sale for $4.97, for those interested.
It's more about control really. What P3P sacrificed in FES, it made up with full control of party members.
-------
So you guys heard of the P5 rumor? GAF has got substantial clues leading to its announcement in the coming weeks. I hope they release on Vita. Seeing how well received P4G was, I doubt they'll ignore the platform. Right Atlus? RIGHT?
It's a no brainer for P5 to debut on both PS3 and Vita...however all I want is confirmation that Labrys is a character in P5, I need her in P5.
I just realized that my gmail email was "sorting" all incoming mail in to 5 different categories, without even notifying me, thus I have unread mails from the past 6 or so months... Funny enough, going through all the mess, I found a promo from Sony, giving me trial code for 30days of PS+. As I'm already an active subscriber, I cannot redeem the key, so I will give it away to one of you, vitaBros, who have yet to check on PS+.
There is only one restriction, made by Sony - "Current or previous Plus members are not eligible to redeem a 30 day trial.". If anyone have yet to try PS+ and want a 30 trial code, just quote me here, and I'll get in touch via PM as soon as I can. First come, first serve.
P.S. As I cannot recall if there are any rules against such giveaways, if there are, please ignore this post, so the mods can delete it and I don't get in (much) trouble.
I wonder if this is more SCEA bullshit? I guess we'll find out if EU gets them replaced and NA doesn't.
I'm pretty sure no IGC title is supposed to be there for more than 1 year.
With PS3 games, they change them out every E3.
So why would they NOT change out the Vita ones 1 year after they were released?
Tearaway TV ad (holy crap SCEE's actually advertising a Vita game) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQldsRDm6D0
Castlevania has always had a history on handhelds. Wonder if Konami ever thought of putting one on the Vita
As I recall, the really popular Amazon Black Friday deal appeared with fairly short notice. That said, SCEA is obviously 100% focused on the PS4 launch right now, expecting any noticeable push for the Vita would be unrealistic.
I think they're just keeping her in the arena series seeing as there's gonna be another one. But who knows.
You're quite right because this is what it feels like for me somehow. At least with Sony published games.PS+ came to Vita too soon. As the platform has so few major quality games they've run into the issue where if they add games like LBP (and Soul Sacrifice - which they already have) they're telling people if they wait a few months they can get the game for the cost of a subscription.
The Wii U also didn't have a competing platform release on the same month. More resources are allocated to the PS4 due to this. I can think of Sony thinking along the line of "Why gamble on the Vita this year when we can win with the PS4 due to MS' errors".As for their PS4 push, I don't recall Nintendo dropping 3DS like a stone last year. SCEA hasn't done anything for Vita the entire year in regards to marketing.
Honestly I would love to have the code but baekshi will already give me his code on the 15th. Maybe some other Plus-less Vitabro instead. Very tempting to have this now though.![]()
Again, another shitty ad that focuses on the fingers and not on what makes the game good, a slideshow of the gifs alone would be 1000x more effective.Tearaway TV ad (holy crap SCEE's actually advertising a Vita game) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQldsRDm6D0
Ah, ok thanks. It describes Valhalla Knights 3, not relationship with it.
1. "Evil"-themed genuine dark fantasy.
2. 7vs7 jumbled fights between allies and enemies.
3. Chara Make with high degree of freedom.
4. Pleasure Quarter that fills the lust of men.
You mean "Persona 4 Arena: THE ULTIMAX :Ultra Suplex Hold!" ?
Labrys is a great character, they're also introducing a new guy in the game too.
![]()
You know there is going to be a Vita release sometime in the future for Suplex Hold as well.
If you want, I can give you the code now, and baekshi may give his to somebody else on the 15th, or if he gives it to you, then you have to give it to someone else... not that you can stack them.
Up to you, I just want to help. ^^
Labrys? Nah.......nah.It's a no brainer for P5 to debut on both PS3 and Vita...however all I want is confirmation that Labrys is a character in P5, I need her in P5.
Yeah, I think I'm up for that. I'll tell baekshi that you gave it to me first and that I would give somebody else his code. Probably in the gifting thread. I appreciate you doing this very much. You just made a fellow VitaBro happy.![]()
Check your PMs.![]()

It seems to be invalid? Does a trial account have an expiration perhaps? lol
That's been the message everywhere though -- it just happens that EU gets the better end of the deal with all these day one indie freebies like Velocity Ultra and Thomas Was Alone. Stealth Bastard shortly after release, etc.
I mean, look at the culture -- everyone is afraid of buying something because of it possibly coming to plus. Oh no, I paid $7 and supported a quality developer when I could've waited 2 months and got it free with my PS+ sub. It's not a good thing.
I would be okay with them just changing those games out instead of some of the newer ones leaving, but just leaving them there? I don't think that's right.
Damn... Sorry ;/ It says's it expires on 31th December. Could it be because of different regions?
Amazon.com has answered this for US Vita owners for now at least~

damn, is Tearaway confirmed at $40 for America?
also, Friday release date??
Maybe. I'm NA. I'm guessing you're EU?
Edit: Yeah, I just saw your PM. It's probably because of the region. I guess some EU gaffer needs you instead.![]()
Ahh... didn't expect it to be region locked... and it didn't even come to mind.
Sorry about that mate! Now I feel bad...
Ok, sooo, that makes another restriction by Sony - the code is region locked (for EU) and cannot be redeemed if you HAD or already HAVE an active PS+.
Sony would probably have liked to wait, but they also needed to do something to get sales going and Plus seems like a good bet. Unfortunately it likely hasn't worked as well as they had hoped.PS+ came to Vita too soon. Agreed, it's an unfortunate side-effect. I try to have the attitude that if I am excited for and enjoy a game then it doesn't matter if I could have had it for free a few months later. I do understand those who feel differently thoughThat's been the message everywhere though -- it just happens that EU gets the better end of the deal with all these day one indie freebies like Velocity Ultra and Thomas Was Alone. Just fired up Dragon's Crown after not playing it for a week or so. Goddamn. Might be the best looking game I've played all year, regardless of format. It's just stunning.
In my place, PS+ is not that popular. The 2nd hand market is very large where there's no shortage of games being sold even the new ones like AT2 and Senran Kagura. The perception of the digital market is vastly different and most of the people here feel the need to have a physical copy so I guess it doesn't matter if the IGC doesn't change.Agreed, it's an unfortunate side-effect. yeah! now we just need it to offer more titles.
If we do a no limit SS from here we can do:
Angry birds starwars

epic mickey 2
divekick
hotlie miami
guacamelee
hogs of war*
Geronimo Stilton in the Kingdom of Fantasy*
jak collection
Killzone
Lego Marvel
Machinarium

Persona 2?
Pinball Heroes
Sly Cooper 4
and Twisted Metal 1?
Not the GREATEST selection to gift from.....plus thats if we don't limit the pricing per gift.

Also they did release the Vita 2000 and the Vita TV. Since then Vita sales in Japan skyrocketed to more than 10 times.
To me it feels more like the Vita is marketed in Japan while the PS4 is marketed outside Japan where we can feel it.
Stick It To the Man is available for Pre-order. But not for Vita. So basically no buy. I hope the reviews are good news -_-.
And I don't get the PS+ stance. Do people not know not to buy games in the ladt week of the month? And do people not buy their games to play them? I mean, I only buy a game when I'm going to play it immediately. There's no point in building a backlog just so it can go down and price and you practically lose money.
(2) I was only top poster last month, to my knowledge. Previously I've been in top 5. I just love my Vita and my VitaGAF.

BUY THIS, PEOPLEDJ Max Portable 3 is $20 on US PSN atm, unknown if its a price drop or just a sale for the week though...
Haha, I like it better on Vita. Going back to PSP to play the other ones feels really mushy. =\I feel like the Vita's nice clicky buttons couldn't take the hammering that game requires

Flower is out now? It's not on the Vita store lol https://store.sonyentertainmentnetw...vita/cid=UP9000-PCSA00114_00-FLOWERVITA000001

Says it's not available but it's also listed as "Free"
Does that mean that it's free for those that already have it?
Yes, it's a retroactive cross buy game.
http://www.vg247.com/2013/11/12/ps4...e-binding-of-isaac-free-on-ps-plus-at-launch/Joystiq reports that Don’t Starve should launch, “early January,” and will be free on PS Plus at day one. A rep also said, “A Vita native version with cross-save is coming a couple months after the PS4 version,” and that both the PC and PS4 builds will receive parallel updates from a certain point.
So I bought it once on PS3, I'll get it for free on vita, and on PS4? And then I can play the PS4 version on vita via remote play. So that's four versions for the price of one![]()
How do most PSP games look on the Vita screen? There are a few I'd like to pick up when I get mine. Counting down the days...
