I pre-ordered from a local EBgames (Alberta, Canada), and I'm being sent away for 5 days on a job (I work in the Oil/Gas industry), So I called them and told them I might not be able to pick it up on Friday, It might be Monday or Tues before I would be able to come in. I explained to them how I would be out of town on work, and they said they only hold it for 48 hours.

I asked them if it was possible to pay the entire console over the phone via credit card, or IF by some chance I had time to come in tomorrow and pay for it in full, then maybe they could just hold on to it. They told me that they could not take my CC over the phone (understandable, some retailers dont do that) but even if I came in and paid before hand, it wouldnt make a difference and they normally would only hold it for 48 hrs. Kinda bullshit if you ask me, especially if its fully paid.

Dude on the phone said to call back on Sat, and remind them of my situation and hopefully they will be able to hold my ps4 until I get back. Id be very disgruntled If they didn't, considering I went to preorder it two days after e3.

It's a possibility. Don't risk it if you don't need to. Call CS and have them do it or buy a gift card and put it on your account for the amount needed to cover it.

NBA says Tuesday delivery.

So now I anxiously wait for UPS to come on Friday

Send Amazon an e-mail or get with a chat rep and ask about release-date delivery on NBA 2k14.

I ordered it on Sunday with my b2g1 code, but the delivery date was unknown until it changed to Nov 19th today. I sent them an e-mail and they upgraded my shipping to one-day for free. Expected to get here on Friday now.

Most people do not have shipping info. Likely only those that do not have a warehouse close by. I expect most will ship out tomorrow but even Thursday is a possibility.

dell updated their shipping info recently to say I'll have it on the 15th, but the website still says '7 day delivery' and it hasn't shipped yet.

I'm skeptical, but will still be running to the door on Friday every time I hear anything.

Amazon computers must be in overload trying to navigate all these orders of PS4 awesomeness. Hopefully the computers will get confused and unleash the flood gates of along with my new PS4.

I wonder if such a massive new console distribution launch requires 2 people with launch key codes like in the military to open the shipping hatch for my PS4.

I know my poor console is sitting next to its brothers and sisters in a lonely warehouse, but its owner is all alone. Amazon Please let my PS4 come home. I will cuddle with it the first night i get it, i promise.

Welp, my games arrived today from Amazon. Knack, Madden and Injustice (which I ordered as my free game this past Sunday). Now Friday just needs to get here with my PS4. Unless Amazon wants to ship it early.

Weird thing though, I noticed Knack doesn't have a Remote Play icon on the back of the box like Madden and Injustice do. Isn't Knack supposed to have Remote Play? I thought it did.

It's probably more likely that Amazon ships out all PS4s on Thursday and do overnight delivery on it. That way no one gets it on Thursday accidentally.

Huh, I've seen knack boxes with remote play on the back. They must've made some boxes without the icon and others with. Weird, but as launch hic ups go, it's minor.

That's strange. I placed my order like 1 hour later after it went up. This was after Assasins Creed IV showed that it was sold out. And I just got mine today. Are you a prime member? What did you select as your shipping?

All my games are now with me. Only thing left is my PS4 console.

We always get the short end of the stick when it's delivery. Seems like amazon only ships video game software via parcel pool and that takes too long. If they do ship via UPS then I'll be extremely happy.

Actually any "big" package is shipped through UPS and not Parcel Pool. At least that's always my experience. FFS I bought an Epson Workforce 845 and they delivered it the next day through UPS with the standard prime shipping.
